Nifty little ant moat
Keeping ants off my hummingbird feeder was easy with this ant moat. The cup is just the right size without needing frequent refills and I have no problems with evaporation. The hook seem sturdy and work fine with the feeder that I have.

The water cup is too small
These appear to work if the water cup remains full, but I have to fill one daily and the other one every few days due to evaporation. The one I have to fill daily is jostled when a raccoon drinks the nectar from my hummingbird feeder. It is slightly difficult to fill because it will sway if there is water pressure from the hose. I usually take a salt shaker bottle full of water with me to fill it daily. I have another ant mote that is bigger and has an umbrella style cover directly over the top that keeps animals from drinking from it and a much longer journey for the ants and it is less likely to swing in the wind due to its weight, so it requires much less work to fill it regularly. I did try to use a thick coat of Vic’s vapo rub inside the cup instead of water but for some reason that did not stop the ants. I did not try that upside down as someone else suggested because I didn’t want the heat to melt and drip the Vic’s on my hummingbird feeder. These are very affordable, sturdy and they do work, but require a little more work than others.

Please see my brief video. I have these ant moats attached to my hummingbird feeders. You add water and then hang them. They are very easy to clean, prevents ants, they are sturdy (metal), look nice, and a good value for the money.
