Very quiet.
It is much smaller than I anticipated. However powerful enough to give a soft mist like aeration to the 6â aeration strip. If you want more powerful bubbles, I donât think you could achieve it with this little guy. But it is enough for me, especially that it is quiet and can be attached to side/back of tank Very quiet. Does come with tubing and an araetion stone. I did not try the stone. It may create a more vigorous aeration. I am happy with the purchase for my needs.

Basically, silent operation
Without a doubt, the quietest aquarium air pump I have ever used. Even when holding it in your hand, you don’t notice it is operating. Ample air flow/volume for a typical air stone. Would buy three of these rather than a 3 watt air pump that was not as quiet.One possible improvement would be a USB power connection to allow portable use. Currently, hard wired to 120 volt outlet plug/transformer.The supplied double suction cup to hold it to the side of the aquarium… does not seem to hold all that well. Will keep sticking it back on until I come up with a better solution.Update:After a day of having to re-stick the suction cup on the back of the tank, it now has been sticking fine for the last week. It is still very, very, very quiet. 🙂

QUIET!
I like that it’s pretty quiet. It has a strong flow that can’t be adjusted, so I had bend the tubing so it wouldn’t sink my fish. I gave it 4 stars because the suction was missing.

SUPER QUIET
The rectangle shaped nano air pumps (even this brand’s options, even the pet store brands’ options) are just so loud, I’m convinced after buying like 3 different ones that there’s no getting around it. I don’t know what it is about the rectangle design that’s overkill for nano tanks, but it is, and it’s just too much and too loud when it doesn’t have to be for a nano tank. Comparatively, this air pump’s design puts out the same amount of bubbles in my sponge filter while being so quiet that I questioned whether it was even working the first time I turned it on. It definitely was! UPDATE: Uploaded a video trying to capture how quiet it is. You can really only hear my tank bubbles until I put my phone right next to the air pump.

Quiet, efficient, mostly works well.
Added to help increases the oxygen content of a slightly warmer, 3g tank. Extremely quiet while pushing a surprising amount of air. Suction cup holds it securely to the tank glass. Really love the compactness. Itâs a win as far as Iâm concerned.Update: wants to pop off the suction cup and the tank. Air stone is of negligible quality, although it works acceptably.

I just added this to my tank when I upped my co2 input. The one I had was stronger but really loud. This one is silent but also on the weaker side. After running for a few weeks now it seems great just donât expect it to blast air like some of those bigger ones. It will provide a quiet source of air for your tank though.
