Nice pet outfit
Very cute outfit. My cat is not bothered by wearing it. Perfect fit for my kitty. I strap the velcro on his neck first and I insert my fingers in the trousers, grab his paws and slide it in. Otherwise that one little paw on the side will be caught in the elastic. Make sure you order the right size too.

Yo ho ho itâs the pirate life for me. Iâm Captain Oliver! Hand over all your mice!As a 4 month old Maine Coon, the medium costume was a bit snug. Better grab a large if youâre a medium sized cat unless you want your crew calling you Fat Cappy Ollie. Itâs all fluff I tell you! I dreamed of having real hands alas this outfit has flappy fake arms – they donât even pick up your tuna! – the humans chuckled. Hat is mega yet flimsy. Human seemed pleased enough with the pictures.

Mine was way too big for my dog
The outfit is adorable. I had to pin the leg material up for her because she was walking on them. I bought a large since it says for cats or dogs, she easily needed a medium or smaller. The hat would not stay on her head so I just took it off. Super cute though and easy to dress her. Everyone loved it once I pinned it correctly to fit her. Fortunately, she loves dressing up so she didn’t mind it.

Followed the sizing guide and ordered the medium. WAY too small for our labradoodle puppy. Not sure even an XL would be big enough based on how small the medium size was. Cute in the pics of other reviews though. Love animal costumes with âarmsâ!

My Cat wasn’t as thrilled as me!
So I saw this for $11 and thought what the hell. First few times I tried the hat, he shook it off and hid from me. Next time I put the bodice on and that was surprisingly more tolerable to him. Once you get the legs in, there is a velcro strap around the neck to secure it. Once that was on, there’s no shaking it off. The hat also has a strap that I couldn’t figure out So I just set it on his head long enough to get a picture. There is a cape that comes with it but I forgot to put it on for the picture.I consider him a larger cat at 15 lbs and he’s wearing a medium. Fits perfect!For the price, it was well worth it just for the laughs alone. I might have to get a new one every year, lol.

Not for short-legged doggos
There was no denying that it was cute, but it ended up being useless to me, so I returned it. The reason is because I have a basset hound. I sized the product correctly for his big barrel chest, but as he was walking around in it, he kept stepping out of the sleeves. He would get tangled up and fall down. The poor thing couldnât even walk in this thing. I think it would be OK if your dog had nice long legs, the elastic around the chest would keep it up. But for my dog, the top stayed on, but the sleeves got caught up on his legs and kept coming loose. It was very uncomfortable for him and we couldnât even wear it on Halloween (I took the picture when we were trying it on). I ended up having to buy another pirate outfit for him. Itâs really too bad because it is a cute costume, but you need a dog with legs that are long enough to keep the costume on, because the elastic is very loose around the sleeves.

So my cat wasn’t a fan, he laid down once I put it on and wouldn’t stand up. Me laughing while putting it on him made it well worth the $18 though!For the review though: this fits small. I purchased the medium and would have needed a large if my cat was going to actually wear it. Inside the costume is mesh lining its entirety, so nails/claws will get caught up in it if you’re not careful when putting their front feet in.For reference, my cat is 10 lbs and your typical sized domestic shorthair. You can tell by the hat in the photo it wasn’t going to fit right.Costume also said it was a dog costume on the bag it arrived in… wouldn’t fit a dog, a Chihuahua maybe, but definitely not a dog or a maine coon, that’s for sure.
