Update March 23, 2025. Got OFFLINE on October 22, 2024 and could not connect again since then
I purchased this security camera for my garage which is detached from the house. The camera came in with simple instructions printed on the outside of the box. A small adapter delivering 5.0 DCV output at 1.0 A, a power cord and a small booklet are included in the box. Set up was easy: using the smartphone, download the app from Google Play; open the app and register an account; scan the QR code of the camera; insert a micro SD card; power up the camera with the adapter and power cord; connect the camera to the house Wi-Fi (using 2.4 GHZ only). And voila! The 2K resolution pictures are very good, can be recorded onto the inserted card without need for cloud storage. Good motion detection with IR, excellent tracking and color night vision. Additional lighting can be turned ON or OFF as well as speaker and microphone. Alerts are sent to the smarphone. The siren is not very loud outside of the garage.Overall I am very pleased with the quality of this productat great price and would recommend it.

Great little product for the price!
For a $20 security camera, this little thing is nice. One thing, I was leary of purchasing this as I saw in the comments that you couldn’t control the camera and it “didn’t move”. Mine didn’t either until I actually opened the settings and set it up. Once I had it all set up properly, everything worked. The tracking feature does a good job following the target as it moves around the room. Motion will be a bit jankety if your internet reception is poor, but even being in my basement (across the house from my router), I had no major issues with connectivity, just laggy controls from time to time… Picture and video quality is decent enough even using the night camera. I bought this to keep an eye on my foster momma and her 7 pups, so I wasn’t having to constantly run downstairs to check in. This allows me to talk to the puppies and take still shots and/or record video of all their shenanigans. I added a short video showing the night quality, its not amazing, but for $20 it’s really good. I’ve also added a photo taken during the “daytime” (please excuse the puppy mess everywhere, this is why they were moved to the bathroom as they aged!). The up and down range of the camera could be a bit better, but it covers almost a 360 degree view of where it is placed. All in all, this is a decent camera for the price and if I end up with more puppy fosters, I will definitely purchase more. The more eyes, the better with puppies!

DON’T BUY
I purchased two of these cameras to monitor my cat. Setup was generally easy and the camera operated fine. I disconnected the cameras after my cat passed away unexpectedly. Now that I’m adopting another one, I attempted to reconnect the cameras but with no success. The software wouldn’t accept my wifi password. I reached out to customer service who told me that the password issue is a KNOWN BUG. Instead of replacing or refunding the cameras, they instructed me to update the firmware through an SD card. The software STILL refuses the wifi password.In short, don’t buy the cameras. You’ll see that other people had the same software issues. Buy another brand.UPDATE (12/2024): They have sent several emails offering replacements due to this negative review. It became annoying. When the firmware update didn’t work, I requested replacements. They said that my cameras were out of warranty, which was true BUT it was worth asking anyway. The cameras went straight to the trash can. The company declined to offer replacements until I left this review. I refused. They should’ve done it the first time.

Excellent camera. It works great and has many functions. It has a 360 degree turn, and everything is visible as you can also move the camera round. It can record video and take pictures, and I can also talk to my dog through it. Pleased. Highly recommend!

Great camera for the price
I ordered 2 of these to replace a pet robot camera to check on my kitties while I’m at work or not home and to make sure no one enters my apartment (office, maintenance without notification or anyone breaking in of course). Much better quality than the $200 pet cam I had that stopped working. They are easy to set up/ install and I haven’t had any issues after having them about a month. They do have the option for a cloud service that you get free for 30 days or a memory card, I believe, I’m just using the cloud for now. The tracking feature works well and so does the motion detection(also better than the other pet cam I had). You can set up to record 24/7 or put in a scheduled time frame and it records any movement (you can choose human, pet, and/or vehicle). You can move the camera angle from the app and store preset positions as well as zoom in. The only slight critique I would give is that it doesn’t look directly down, even all the way down you can’t see a couple feet below the camera, you can hang it on the wall and that would fix that because you would angle the up side down, if that makes sense, and you could get a much better view of everything. I just haven’t taken the time to mount them. They do come with mount and screws. The night vision you can do black and white or there’s a light that comes on to still capture color. So far no serious complaints, great camera especially for the price.

Sound is terrible, video and cloud is ok.
I don’t know how these cameras could ever be rated above 3 stars. Sound is terrible, only works half the time and it’s muffled. Video is OK but the cameras don’t see very wide and more zoomed in like. For the cloud storage I think it’s ok, seems to catch movement and record like it should..plays back like it should. But the microphone problem. That’s a huge thing.
