This is the absolute best substrate you can get. My beardie loves it, digs, laid her eggs in it and was able to go into brumation. Nothing else compares.

this sand is really nice i got one bag and it covered the bottom of my 4x2x2 tank. my beardie loves to dig in it. iâd recommend getting 2 bags if you want it to be more deep so theres more sand for your creature to dig around in. from the research i did this sand seemed to be the best option. remember to make sure your husbandry is perfect before adding sand to reduce risks of impaction

Looks nice. Little dust. Not sure how it can’t cause impaction but why don’t dragons get constantly impacted in the wild? Way to expensive. Need to use a cat box litter scoop. I have a nice screen scoop but this sand doesn’t go through it.

Desert Paradise for My Little Dragon Overlord
I wasnât sure what to expect from a bag of dirt, but this Jurassic Natural substrate turned my bearded dragonâs tank into a five-star desert resort. My dragon strutted around like sheâd just claimed Australia as her kingdom. The texture is perfectânot too loose, not too packedâand it keeps her comfy as she plots world domination from her basking rock. I needed 3 bags for her 24″ by 36″ enclosure.
Bonus: It even looks like real desert terrain, so now I feel like Iâm watching a mini Jurassic Park in my living room. Just waiting for the tiny T. rex to show up. If your beardie deserves the royal treatment (and letâs face it, they ALL do), this substrate is the red carpet theyâve been waiting for.

Product came in very quickly and was able to be used immediately for my bearded dragon. No odors and gives the terrarium a great quality look. Useful for a dig box or substrate. Only filled up about a third of his tank. Orange in color
