â MULTIPLE PIECES, BUT BIG PLANT IS THE BEST PART.
While, I don’t have a reptile, I got these with intentions to use them in my freshwater aquarium.â MULTIPLE PIECES: the package comes with 4 different pieces of decorationâ a long vine, a big silk plant, and two smaller, very basic, somewhat cheap looking plants. it’s not a bad deal for the amount of decorations that you ultimately get, and you could potentially, fully decorate a small reptile enclosure with just this package, as long as you don’t mind the lack of quality.â DURABLE MATERIALS: despite being bundled up really, really, tightly, two out of the four decorations are made of silk (and plastic stems). the silk leaves are actually decently durable, even when wet. they give the decorations are nice natural look, as compared to plastic decorations. this is also beneficial for the reptiles and fish since the sill is much softer, so it doesn’t have the potential to scratch or cause damage to the animals bodies.â QUALITY: the overall quality is where this falls short. i was only willing to use two of the four decorations for my aquarium. the largest silk plant is the best out of all of them, and the vine can be used for several different purposes. i ended up using the vine in a hanging plant basket that i use artificial plants for, and put the large silk plant in my aquarium as a sort of “center piece” plant and focal point for the tank.â´ OVERALL RATING: ââââ FOUR STARS âââââââââââââââââ¡ããã IN SUMMARY: i could only give a four star rating, as i could only find uses for two out of the four decorations. only two of the decorations looked presentable, and the other two (smaller plants) that are fully plastic, just look really cheap, and poorly made. they’re nothing more than just a single plastic stem and plastic flowers. they could be used as a touch of color for something, but they would be useless inside of an aquarium. however, the biggest plant looks awesome in my tank, and after a little fluffing, and correcting the bending of the stems and leaves, it look almost real in the water! i wish it was a little bigger/taller, because it would look even more amazing. the silk leaves are better for the fish, and i have also discovered that they do not accumulate algae growth as rapidly as all plastic plants! they’re very easy to clean, just a quick dip in some diluted bleach, and a good rinse and they look practically, brand new! â¡
