Customers say
Customers find the bird food to be of good quality and effective, with minimal mess and a variety of birds visiting their feeders. They appreciate its value and sound quality, with one customer noting their yard looks and sounds like an aviary. However, the product contains too much white millet, and some customers report that their birds don’t like it.

Suet for winter helps
I like this enough to get it on autodelivery now. I decided to try food with suet and this mix comes with that and more. This really helps keep the local birds coming around and a little fatter so far this winter, and I also noticed a larger variety of birds showing up too. The company has been great to deal with and compared to other mixtures, especially winter mixes is a great value and quality too. I funnel it into two empty gallon jugs and it fits perfectly, so no mess for me or may patio is great.

Mess freds
We were pleasantly surprised by the large variety of stunning, colorful birds that began visiting our space. Their vibrant plumage brought such joy and life! I would highly recommend purchasing this product again, as it not only attracted these beautiful creatures but also kept our area tidy without creating any mess.

A hit.
Birds, squirrels, rabbits and dogs all loved it. They did not provide any complaints. One funny thing was that he birds dropped most of the suet. Dogs and rabbits ate it though. I feel like someone else had reported a similar experience here.

Working great in my BirdBuddy
I got a BirdBuddy camera feeder for Christmas, okay from myself but still, and I spent a lot of time trying to find the right feed to fill it. I wanted no wasteâmy deck looks so much better not covered in sunflower seed shells, thanksâand I thought since itâs the dead of a Midatlantic winter here, the high fat content of the suet would be a welcome thing for my birds. Lo and behold, I was so right. They pick the little suet balls out first thing! The squirrels thankfully leave those alone and seem to take the nuts, but my cardinals, sparrows, juncos, and titmice (titmouses?) still come back and are happy with whatâs left. Iâm adding some mealworms next, and black soldier fly larvae in the spring (for calcium for eggshells). Iâm thrilled to be feeding and watching all my little neighbors and canât wait for the ones who donât overwinter to come home!

The birds wouldn’t eat it
I tried this instead of the Deck Porch and Patio that I have been using since this was much cheaper, but they wouldn’t eat it.

Nice to not have seed shells everywhere!
I canât hang bird feeders because the squirrels pull them down. I have a few raccoons who have ruined feeders, too. So I can throw no-mess seed on the deck or put in a flat open feeder (in the picture) that is attached with a small bungee cord. Anything that falls on the ground gets picked up by the chipmunks or other birds. Nice to not have seed shells to clean up.
