A week in: The birds have spoken.
After using the suet and seed mix for just under a week, it’s clear this mix is a winner. Our feeder has been buzzing with activity; house finches, black-capped chickadees, tufted titmouses, and house sparrows have all shown up, and they’re not just casually snacking. They’re devouring it. The suet portion, in particular, goes twice as fast as regular seeds, which says a lot about how much they love it (and how often I’m refilling the feeder). Finally, Suet Without the Bricks:Let’s talk about suet for a second. Finding suet mixed into seeds like this instead of being trapped in those bricks? Rare. The combo is a game-changer when it comes to getting birds their fat and energy. It so far attracts a variety of birds, while cutting down on the frustration of dealing with bricks (if you know, you know).Performance in Wisconsin Winters:It’s winter here, and this blend is pulling its weight. The suet and peanut combo is clearly giving the birds the extra energy they need in the cold, which feels rewarding to see. We’ve been tracking feeder activity with a smart feeder, and it’s no exaggeration—50-80 visits per day. 70% of which are after the suet. That’s a lot of flapping, chirping, and happy birds. So far, no squirrels have discovered it, but I’m cautiously optimistic.Cleanup, Room for Improvement:No mix is perfect, and suet does mean a little extra cleaning on the feeder, but it’s nothing unmanageable. For the results we’re seeing, it’s a minor trade-off. As for packaging, it’s fine, but I’d love to see bulk options. When you’re going through this much in the winter, buying larger bags would make things even easier. The Final Chirp:Overall, this blend strikes the perfect balance between convenience, quality, and appeal for the birds. It’s efficient, and clearly appreciated by our feathered friends. If you’re tired of suet bricks and want something that delivers (for both birds and people), this is absolutely worth a try. Just keep in mind what kind of birds you want, because it’s not like this is just some magic mix. It’s pretty close though lol. I’ve had good luck. Picture shows how fast suet went down compared to the other seeds (suet is green arrow). Filled at the same time and that was a span of 2 days.EDIT: God freaking damn, 185 visits for the past few days, they have their clear favorite side of the feeder.

A Game-Changer for Bird Feeding: No-Mess Bird Food
Feeding the birds has always brought me joy, but cleaning up the mess on the porch was a daily chore—until I discovered this no-mess bird food. I noticed the difference immediately; the birds love it, and my porch stays so much cleaner. While I still occasionally use the leaf blower, it’s nothing compared to the constant cleanup I used to do. This food not only eliminates the mess with its shell-free formula but also lasts longer than regular bird seed. Though the bag is smaller and slightly more expensive, the convenience and cleanliness make it completely worth it. I highly recommend it for anyone who loves feeding birds without the hassle!

    Best for variety of birds
We have a large variety of birds here, as well as squirrels. They love this mix and are arriving to eat it as soon as I put it out. The only thing more popular is plain peanuts, which disappear first. Happy I found such a wonderful mix that feeds so many. I do put this on a flat feeder, which seems to work best.

    Everything eats this!!!!
we put this out and it literally attracts EVERYTHING so its good and bad depending on what you want to feed and where you live. I live near the woods so I even have deer come up to eat this out of our feeders some nights. We get all types of small birds including wood peckers. the squirrels love it too so if that is a problem def get a squirrel resistant feeder. but we love this bird seed. its well enjoyed by wildlife

    The birds don’t like it
I am returning the bag of bird food because the birds don’t eat the majority of the seeds in the blend. They ignore the white millet entirely and rarely eat the corn or cracked corn. The size of the pieces also slip through 2 of my feeders, making the ground a mess and attracting mice, squirrels and chipmunks.
