Copper-Aid is an effective treatment for external parasites on aquarium fish. It helps cure most external parasite issues on fish that exhibit visible symptoms such as spots, extra skin mucus, scratching, rubbing, rapid breathing, loss of body color, or visible worms. This treatment does not require water changes or pH adjustments assuming levels are ideal before treatment. You can maintain all normal filtration and air flow during treatment. Simply replace the carbon after treatment completion. When doing water changes, treat the replacement water with Copper-Aid to ensure the prevention of any further external parasite issues. NOTE: Contains Chelated Copper Sulfate – Remove all invertebrates without an exoskeleton (anemones, jellyfish etc.) from aquarium prior to treatment. Copper-AID may be harmful to plants and some snails. DO NOT OVERDOSE. For ornamental pond and aquarium fish ONLY, not for human, medical, or food fish use.

Saved My Betta!
My betta started to act lethargic and stopped eating. Once the dusty gold color started to appear on his tail I knew it had to be velvet. I dosed his tank according to the instructions & with a medicine syringe for best accuracy since he was in a 1gal quarantine tank. Within 24hrs my betta was eating and happy again! Follow the dosing instructions and perform a water change beforehand. Every week I would perform a 50% water change to keep the water as clean as possible then medicate the tank (with half of the initial dose). I did this process for about 3 weeks to make sure the velvet was 100% gone! This product is clear and wonât stain any decor. Overall Copper Aid was quick, safe, & effective! Read the instructions very carefully and you will have a healthy, happy fish in no time!

So great
It is hard to find fish meds that take care of actual parasites
Ryan Peinhardt –
100% safe for snails.
Did nothing to kill snails in my aquarium. I’m going to buy the blue crystals instead.

Slow delivery, size is adequate to dose a small tank only
Product delivery was delayed several times. Product seems to be a watered down version of traditional copperaid based on dosing instructions and the pale green of the solution. At any rate the fish died before this was finally delivered.

probably a gimmick
noticed no change. fish stayed same i added this along with a medicine. if you have other reasons worth a try.

Good stuff that works.
Isolated my fish that had the ich. Was gone pretty quick. I wish this stuff worked with a reef tank with coral and anemones without harming them.
DALE COREMAN –
It work well

This might do something but not enough Had a black molly ended up dying could see the progression of ick even when using this if you’re battling ick I cannot stress enough copper aid it’s not it. I got rid of ich with Rid ick plus raising the temperatures to 84 85. Thats my advice

Dose instructions were followed. Then tested for copper using Salifert test twice – copper undetectable. Read some bad reviews saying this is watered down – dumped the rest of the bottle in my 10 gallon tank – tested for copper and got about .5 ppm while I found the required ppm is 2 for this product to be effective. Bad product, does not do what it says it will and potency is a joke.
