This worked great for my dog! We were able to safely clip his nails without hurting him and, really, it’s the only tool we’ve tried that allowed us to get all his nails trimmed at the same time, as our dog won’t stay still for anything, not even the dremel type tools. Not good for thick nails
These work well, but are not as sharp as described. If your animal has thick nails I would not choose these as. It took a lot of force for me to cut one of my dogs nails.

Very sharp and the light is perfect to see through nails to not hit the quick. It even happens to slightly help with darkened nails. I have a Merle Aussie that has combo nails.

Nails look professionally done!
I’d been using clippers that were 25 years old. (Time flies.) Thought to myself, hm, I wonder how new clippers would be? ð¤ EVERYTHING! Wow! These are AWESOME!! Fast and strong, clean cuts, and the light feature is cool. (Someone really needs to invent one for the dark nails.) My dog had no hesitation in my use of these.
