Life Data LabsUnique blend of ingredients that defends against hoof-eating microbes while maintaining proper elasticity and shock absorption of the hoof wallMaintains correct moisture balance in excessively wet or dry conditions16 ozFPFARFINCSFarrier’s Finish is a liquid topical hoof dressing that combats the “hoof eating” and invasions which cause white line disease, thrush, and poor hoof quality. It is also a conditioner that supports correct hoof capsule moisture balance in excessively wet or dry conditions.Yucca plant extract is an ingredient in Farrier’s Finish. Stabled horses are often subjected to stalls containing varying amounts of excrement. Urine and feces produce high levels of ammonia which is detrimental to the tissues of the hoof capsule. The yucca plant extract binds with this ammonia, reducing its harmful effects.Problems it AddressesHoof cracks, old nail holes and poor hoof wall structure can allow microbes to invade resulting in crumbling hoof walls or white line disease. Thrush is a infection of the sole and frog often associated with wet environments. Many commercial hoof products address these problems, but they often use chemicals that denature and destroy the protective function of the hoof. Formaldehyde, turpentine, pine tar and acetone will harden the hoof and make it shine; however, they cause the hoof to lose some of its elasticity, shock absorption, and its ability to allow oxygen to pass into the hoof capsule. A hoof wall without elasticity is more prone to cracking, and a hoof wall unable to “breathe” naturally cannot maintain healthy moisture content. The SolutionFarrier’s Finish contains a unique blend of ingredients that defends against hoof-eating microbes while maintaining proper elasticity and shock absorption of the hoof wall. Farrier’s Finish not only protects and disinfects the surface of the hoof, but it also penetrates deep within the hoof wall to combat microbes at the foundation of

I was so happy to find Farriers Finish
Horse history – One full year without a trim, water damaged hooves, belling, toe cracks and wall separation, no dry place to stand. Process – I started working with this barefoot quarter horse in Sept 2016, less than 5 months ago. She was put on Life Data Farriers Formula Double Strength at the loading dose level, to begin the process of a stronger hoof from the inside. We began trims every 6 weeks. In between trims I had to find a way to get this mares feet dry, it was full on rainy season and the mare did not have access to a dry stall. (long story, she’s my neighbors horse and my neighbor had a full plate). She had a 15 year history of toe cracks and weak hooves, but as I learned more it seemed full supplementation and hoof care of the type needed for a full chance of growing an entirely new hoof had never happened. As I worked and tried various topicals to protect her from water I finally found Keratex Hoof Gel. Between that hoof get coating every other day, and me creating a dry lean to type spot for the night before treatment, I was able to partially limit more damage. When rainy season ended I then needed something different, she needed a conditioner to keep from getting too dry, yet still needed protection from morning dew and manure in her pasture. I was so happy to find Farriers Finish. I started using it just 3 weeks ago. The mare had hoof wall separation 1/2 to 3/4 inch up her hoof. Her hooves were still threatening to bell out from moisture even with protective topicals. What I did after much reviewing of youtube and reading up, was clean her hooves and the separated area, I had to buy a tiny screwdriver and a steel brush to really get into the area that would gather damp sand. I then used a plastic brush (toothbrush size but stiffer), to scrub in farriers finish, into the separated area and toe cracks, then fully coat her hoof with it. I’d allow her to stand for about 10 minutes before turn out. This product WORKS. It conditioned and protected the outside of the hoof from further damage of a wet/dry cycle, the iodine and tea tree were worked into the nooks and crannies and the very beginnings of white line issues (white and powdery that I discovered when really CLEANING with that tiny screwdriver), became hard and dry. The moisture issues and belling simply went away, the hoof dried out but did not feel over dry. She had a trim yesterday and for the first time in almost 6 months the farrier was able to trim up to mostly solid whiteline and wall. I immediately applied two applications of farrier finish and will do a third today since we had some bad storms last night. This product really soaks in and protects. Since we’re managing an issue I’m applying every other day, I clean the hoof and brush the still weak areas with the steel brush to get the sand out, then apply and let set for 10 minutes. It holds up to general pasture use on a barefoot horse, when shes able to be worked without her hooves chipping up (I’m finally seeing the light of day on that) I will apply after workouts. I’m hopeful now that the next two trims will see the end of her toe cracks since I feel this product is eliminating the cause, and the 3rd after that should have us to 100% new hoof and then down to the maintenance dose of Farriers Formula and maintenance applications of Farriers Finish. Can’t say enough good about it right now! Sorry for the ramble and length!

    Does what advertised to do.
I haven’t used this product long enough to see if there are actual benefits to applying it to my horse’s hooves. My farrier is very persuasive in his endorsement and I want the optimal health for my horse. Although easy to apply, it is too runny for my sake and I end up with at least a fourth of the product on the ground because it runs off the frog before I can fully distribute it with a brush. It would be nice if the bottle’s instructions and farrier’s advise added up. But, all in all, if it proves truly if beneficial in the overall health of her hooves I will continue using it. It would also be nice if a better brush was included. The small head brush provided is not practical for application. It does need to be kept from freezing temps.

    Good Products
Life Data Labs produce great products I have used Farriers Formula for years and thought I would try this for a horse with a hoof abscess. I haven’t used it long enough to see results yet.

Must for horses with difficult feet.
Significantly improved dry hooves, cracks and nail failure. I keep up with this treatment and the horse’s feet continue to look great.

Works on hooves , no cracks in 5 weeks.
Now on 2nd bottle. Put on hooves every 3 to 4 days.Do not snip off too much in spout or tip of bottle… as it will pour far too much out. I pour it in old clean sock and rub on hooves.

MIRACLE WORKER FOR THRUSH AND WHITE LINE
This stuff is amazing. My farrier suggested it because my horses had thrush and one was verging on white line. In just a few days you could see the difference. Ask your farrier. I tried a few others powders and purple liquid but this one is BEST also put on the hoof!!
