Customers say
Customers find these tweezers work well, with one mentioning they’re great for spot feeding axolotls, and another noting they’re long enough to reach the bottom of deep jars. The build quality receives positive feedback, with one customer mentioning they stood up to strong puffer beaks, and customers consider them excellent value. However, the grip and filtration capacity receive mixed reviews – while some find them useful in reef aquariums, others note they’re not stiff enough to grip heavy items, and while they clean up nicely, they can contaminate aquarium water. The rust resistance is also mixed, with some customers reporting very little rust while others say they’re not stainless steel.

VERY long
These tweezers are very long and work like they should. Obviously, you can’t move 10 lb rocks around with them but that’s not what they’re designed for. They do keep your hands dry unless you have to go to the very bottom of our 120g reef tank. Make sure you rinse them off after use. No rust or issues so far tho. As a humorous side note, these 2 tweezers arrived in a box from Amazon almost big enough to pack a Honda Civic in. I had NO clue what I’d ordered when I saw the box until I opened it.

I’ll never be without a set of these again!
PRODUCT: Lily’s straight and bent stainless steel super thick tweezersI originally got these to plant some plants in deep, narrow, crowded nano-tank. However, they’ve also proven so useful for working in my other tanks that I now consider them an essential part of my aquarium gear. The tweezers themselves are sturdy and grab things well, though of course, being so long and thin they won’t grab things the way a pair of pliers would. People who have complained about the grabbing abilities need to realize that that’s just the nature of the tool.In response to other complaints, I never dry mine off and I’ve had no problems with corrosion or rusting from using them in my freshwater tanks. If you’re wondering whether to buy just one pair of tweezers or spend a little more on this set, I find that both the straight and bent ones are needed for different situations, and they work even better when you use them together.

Good giant tweezrs for aquarium use. Just dry them after use.
Theae are good tweezers for aquarium use. They just need to be dried after use, otherwise they will develop rust spots when left wet. I was able to clean it up with a magic eraser. And for the cost I dont mind this issue at all.The pic is in front of my double 20 gallon standard aquariums. I got these for the much needed plant maintenance you see. You can use them and keep your hands relatively dry. Definitely dont need to put my whole arm in the tank anymore.Would definitely buy them again should I need too, but with minor care these should last forever.

The 18″ tools are HUGE but they handle fine work in the aquarium with no problem, no wet arms, not even wet hands.
I bought the 18″ tools, wanting them to be long enough that I wouldn’t have to put my hands in the tank. Let me tell you, they are HUGE! I was not expecting them to be so big and just about fell over when I unboxed them…….H-U-G-E! I thought, oh no, they’re too big to do fine work in the tank, why did I get the big ones?!? I was wrong, however. They work just fine for whatever I’ve wanted to do. The curved tip pair seem to be the most helpful for most tasks, but it’s nice to have both. Even though they’re very big, the metal is strong so they don’t bend or give. Storing them can be an issue due to their size. If you have deep aquariums or if you just don’t want to run and wash your hands up to your elbows every time you have to do something at the bottom of the tank, these are for you! Just be prepared when you open the box, they’re MONSTERS!

Love this so much!! Already Used So Much!
I like the 2 piece set 18 inches so I donât have to reach in or use nets, my hand, arm, get wet, the rake or whatever. Iâve already used them to put java moss in place, move items after water changes, get dead shrimp out sadly, quickly though which was helpful.I like how I was able to assess my mystery snail. He wasnât well. Then later I was able to pick him up and move him to the other tank.I recommend rinsing and dry well Iâve had no rusting or color changes and have used often. I make sure I dry very well.I use for ricks, aquarium aquascaping, and moving around aquarium decor and marimo moss balls, etc. I really like the 18 inch. At first I admit, they were massive feeling. But in less than a week, with practice, Iâm glad I got them. Compared to the price of the researched packs I saw itâs worth the money.I got I nice curved long aquascaping Sissor separately, then this 18 inch pair. Perfect. If you look at my reviews, you will see my fave aquarium cleaning kit. That gas the other long attachments.Hope this was helpful. Thatâs why I take time to share.

Useful, precision tools
Thick gauge stainless steel keeps the instrument rigid despite the length. This allows precise manipulation and control, from the heavy pressure of movingstones to the delicate pressure of adjusting plants. The length is very convenient for placing food tablets on the substrate, precisely where I want to,without my hand [or too much of it] getting into the water. For a 20H tank, it’s perfect. For a 55you still need to immerse your hand, but not significantly. I am considering a separate pair for ahospital tank.to immerse your hand

These are great for getting stuff ( ex; toothpaste lids, leggo, toothbrushes, small cars, etc) out of my bathroom sink without having to tear the pipes apart.
