Terrific ladder, 36 inch top step, folds easily once you figure out the process
Massive improvement over my standard 36 inch top step stepladder!
This Little Giant 3 step is very stable, the steps are extra wide, the grab bar with the tool tray on top is very helpful a s has enough capacity for screws and small tools.
This Little Giant folds easily once you know the system for folding the ladder flat.
I donât find this ladder heavy at all and itâs easy to grab and carry around.
I have much better height and reach over my old 36 inch step ladder. The Little Giant comes completely assembled and the folding process is super easy.
Just make sure you put the top safety grab rail/tool holder down FIRST and then reach over and push the ladder back to your body. See my video.
I have a lot of stuff in my shop that is on 72 inch shelves and reaching the top shelves is far safer and easier with this Little Giant 3 step ladder.
Iâve been climbing ladders for 50+ years and the wide steps and grab rail on this Little Giant are greatly appreciated at my age.
Definitely worth the money especially compared to a visit to the ER!

Best little ladder ever
The ladder itself is a little heavy & somewhat awkward to open. However it does fold very tightly & takes up almost no space. The ladder is so solid, so stable. The wider steps really make a difference. Iâm old w bad knees & I never feel secure on any small ladder even with a handle. I had no trouble using this ladder at all. Just what I need to change smoke alarm batteries safely.

Impressive and sturdy
This safety step by Little Giant was a great addition. I’m 5′ tall, so I need a step ladder for any household chores. I love the extra wide steps and the safety handrail. It also has wheels so once it is unfolded, you can easily move it around. That’s a good feature because this step ladder is not very light.

Large steps and very sturdy
The steps are large such that my feet donât slip off as they do on a ladder rung. All steps can be safely used, even the top one. Very sturdy and easy to fold and unfold. Tool rail could a bit wider, but it holds the tools I need it to hold.

These are great in EVERY situation
I initially purchased this because the folding steps on our motorhome are always failing. I have spent hundreds of dollars on parts and dozens of hours underneath the RV to try to fix the steps. I’ve finally given up and purchased these steps. They are amazing. They fold flat so that transporting them is easy. Using them with the motorhome means anytime someone enters or exits, the entire camper doesn’t shake anymore because these are not connected. AND, they are sturdy. The camper steps always wobbled back and forth and it never felt secure. Now I am confident we’re going to be safe entering and exiting the RV.
BONUS: I have used these to change light bulbs, install security cameras, clean the top of my fridge, and wash windows. These steps are THE BEST!

i love the ladder, verry sturdy and safe to stand on and be able to hold on . the reason i gave it only a four star is because it is verry hard to open and if you older or have issues with your hands and maybe not strong enough this could be a issue. i have someone to do it for me but it would not be easy for me to open it. other then that, a verry good ladder.

Great Stepladder
This has to be the most stable stepladder Iâve ever owned. It is heavy, but itâs stable when you step on it thereâs no wobble at all and there is a grab bar. You can click up and lock in place to use if you so choose it is heavy at 16 pounds and it can be a little difficult to close sometimes if you donât pay attention to what youâre doing I actually bought two of these ladders. I have one of my basement to reach up on my shelves and I have one in my garage to use throughout my house And the rubber feet on the ladder stay put thereâs no sliding around on any hardwood floors or concrete floors with the ladder with the cheaper ladders. And the nonslip tread on the latter steps is a bonus. The steps are extra wide to. if you can afford it, try this ladder out

Better than anticipated
This little step ladder is quite strong and very stable!
The flip up railing is a nice feature and makes it practically impossible to lose your balance. I initially thought the tool tray was more of a gimmick than anything, but I used it to full capacity on my first job which was swapping two light fixtures with each other in separate rooms and it saved me several trips up and down the steps. It held everything except my cordless drill.
While the video truthfully shows the ladder folding and unfolding easily, it is a little misleading about portability as it shows the man swinging it back and forth with one hand showing how light it is. This maneuver is obviously practiced and/or he is stronger than he looks. I’m a fairly strong adult male and it is a strain to move it quickly like he does. I gave it four stars for maneuverability because of that clip in the video. It is maneuverable, just not like the video suggests.
This particular one is almost too sturdy and sub sequently a bit heavier as you would expect. I say that because I would hesitate to go get it to clear a cobweb out of reach or doing something small like that. If you want just a lightweight step to reach the top shelf in your kitchen, this is serious overkill and I don’t think it would be handy for that. There is a smaller version if you want something compact and lightweight that may work better to store between your fridge and wall or somewhere similar. That said, this step ladder really isn’t that hard to move around and I think even a young teen or petite person could manage it fairly easily. My 9yo granddaughter can manage it, but she works a little carrying it. I would recommend it for professional painters or anyone who would spend a lot of time standing on a step ladder and expects it to last for many years. I have no doubt this thing will be around longer than me. 🙂
