The lizard mouth props are great for keepers to safely examine their animals. Four different sizes let you work with just about every snake and/or reptile. These lizard props will allow you to safely keep your animal’s mouth open for examinations, administering medications, or to assist in feeding.
To use, simply slide the lizard mouth prop in your animal’s mouth and turn when in position. These props are designed to fit in the side of your animal’s mouth and have a small notch for your animal’s jaw/teeth. The clear acrylic is strong, light, and allows you to see through it to provide a proper examination. The edges are polished to prevent injury to you and your animal.
For veterinarians, the lizard mouth props will help protect endotracheal tubes and endoscopy equipment while performing procedures on anesthetized animals.
