Great Deal for the price
I bought this kit as a way to try and get my horse to be ok with the tools a ferrier uses. They came very sharp and ready to use. I am also in love with the handle used for the file as with little hands I canât get good grip when itâs in its own. The hoof shears work really well on my goats as well. The gloves are a great asset as all these tools are very sharp. They give the advantage of getting a better grip.This set is very sturdy. I wouldnât mind buying a set for each of my kiddos as they grow older. I will be sharing this set with our 4H group for their animals. The sizes are perfect.

I am using the knife and file
The small snippets are worthless. The large hoof cutters I cannot use due to arthritis. The knife and file are great! I have used them several times. The small cutters broke on first use ð¡. The gloves are already ripping after 4 uses but I love how they grip so I plan to purchase several gloves at Walmart. The file is very strong and works great on my goats but they all hate being filed down so I use the knife and my old clippers I purchased at tractor supply then file smooth. I love the carrying case they came in. Easy to carry and roll open for use. If you use on small goats they may work perfect but large goats tend to have harder feet and that is what I have is mostly large boers.

Worked better the the one at tractor supply
My horses got into some mischief and I needed to trim some splits in their hooves between farrier visits. I got a pair of nippers from tractor supply which were extremely hard for me to use. This pack came in the mail and everything works amazingly. Defiantly recommend!

Too big not very sharp
The rasp and clipper are too big and heavy for my hands. (M-L woman hands)I couldnât hold the trimmer and the rasp too long and heavy. The knife isnât very sharp and hard to use on one side of hoof due to only one sharp edge.
