My Bird Is Happy
My bird, a Quaker, loves this toy. He talks to it, fights with it, and tears it up. The colors are bright and engaging. I did replace the clip that attaches it to the cage because I felt the provided clip was flimsy.

Getting the Right Toy for the Bird
I’m going to have to give this 4 instead of 5 stars. I own a Lilac Crested Amazon Parrot, a medium sized hook bill species so if you have any kind of similar bird, my review is for you. I can’t say if this would be the same for other species. Our bird was able to easily break the round wooden balls on the toy in one bite. In just minutes, all of the balls were on the ground, leaving maybe 40% of the toy left for her to play with. I will not get this toy again because she lost interest in playing with it after that. Ten dollars spent for a few minutes of fun. I do not fault the maker… this has to do with the bird species the toy is bought for so I hope this helps future buyers to know what happened in advance.

I have two parakeets and neither one of them went near this toy it’s rather large and I don’t think they really knew what to do with it so I took it out of the cage

Nice toy but NOT for big birds!
Nice toy, well made, but not made for large parrots. Regardless of what the picture shows this toy would be more suitable for cockatiels lovebirds and maybe small conures. I have a Amazon parrot and she had destroyed this within an hour. Normally toys will last her couple weeks but not this one too many soft woods and corn cobs.

I like the size and the material used. Great toy for my Quaker. I purchased a second for my Love birds. This is definitely one of the best toys for these guys. They destroy everything so I usually buy larger toys for them. They enjoy hanging upside down and every which way while they chew. Itâs a large toy and definitely worth the money.
