Awesome.
My son and I are experienced fresh and saltwater fishermen. There are hundreds of “kits” out there for sale. This one is the best small/value for money kit we have bought. It has everything you need for pond, lake, river fishing (one exception being wire leaders). Compact, well presented. Great for heading to out of the way spots when you don’t want to lug a lot of gear. A+

Looks good! Will know more after I use it a time or two.
Neatly compartmentalized and covers fit snugly on each compartment.

181 kit – cool
Beginning freshwater fishing with my kids so their rod and reel combos had very basic kits. Needed more options but nothing crazy elaborate yet, so I tried the 181 piece kit. I was shocked how compact the case was and began to worry. As I opened and looked through it got impressive they organized everything into such a compact kit. I love the fact that this has a locking lid for each compartment! I have to say, pleasantly surprised by this kit.Had I know I think I would have tried 196 or 214 with the lure. Personally I prefer the foam floats, they seem more durable and float better than the hollow plastic ones that get water in and have to be drained out at times which is a pain. Otherwise, if your kit needs a boost of handy essentials but don’t want to spend a lot, this is it.
