Great tank lid with some DIY needed
This magnetic tank lid does a great job of preventing fish from jumping out while still allowing for easy access. The material is sturdy, and the magnets hold well. One of the best features is that the size can be adjusted, but be prepared to do a little DIY to get it just right for your tank. Trimming it down takes some effort, and aligning everything perfectly may take some patience. Overall, itâs a solid product that works as intended once set up properly. Would definitely recommend for those willing to put in a bit of customization!

Great multi-function item – Not JUST a “Lid”
I would give this 100 stars if I was able to!I am so happy with the Magnetic Fish Tank Lid I purchased! It worked perfectly for my 75-gallon tank, and I couldn’t have asked for a better solution to prevent my fish from jumping out. The adjustable size made it easy to fit my tank, and the strong magnetic design kept the lid securely in place. It was really convenient because I could easily remove it when I needed to access the tank and then put it back without any hassle. The material also felt sturdy and durable. I used this lid for quite a while until I switched to glass lids, but it did an excellent job during that time. Highly recommend it for anyone needing a reliable tank cover! For those questioning the strength of the material or the magnets. I would place all sorts of stuff on the top so that it would drain back into the tank. I’m talking about Filter media (Matrix, Sponges, etc). As well as my scaping tools, nets, or even parts from my HOB Filter. You dont get that water build-up like you would if placing on a glass top. All the water just drains right back into the tank.OH! and another HUGE plus is this helps disperse water during water changes. So you no longer have to put something in your tank to avoid the water from messing up your scape. This really is a multi-function item. The only reason I switched was to help the evaporation. Open air lids was causing my water to evaporate extremely fast. Either that or my Fish are extremely thirsty! LoLNow that I have the glass lids on the water level stays consistent for longer periods of time.

Works well but a little floppy
This solved my need of needing lid for my tank that was fairly low profile. It took a little time to put together since you custom fit it to the dimensions you need. The mesh seems pretty sturdy and the magnets work well. My one co paint is that could be more stabilization pieces. Thereâs only 2 small pieces that donât work very well. Make for a floppy lid on larger tanks. It said you can cut out areas for equipment but I have. It tried that, seems like it would become even floppier.

Dont purchase. All pieces didnât arrive.
Only came with three corner clips. Too bad thereâs four corners. Otherwise ok.

Great idea, difficult to put together
This is an awesome concept, just not the easiest to execute. I tried to get the netting to clip into the edge, and was not successful, so thatâs my reason for the star deduction. I was able to utilize the materials elsewhere, so all was not lost.

Awesome top to keep kids/pets out
These work great and it was easy to assemble. The size it came with was great, i ended up having enough to fit both my 29gal AND my 20gal-standard so thatâs a good value. The 20gal standard I put the corners on, didnât have extra corners to put on the 29 and I had some small pieces I pieced together to have enough to fit the 29 after, but it still works. The 20 top is very sturdy, the 29 top is sturdy when down but does flop a lot when lifted to feed or water change as itâs pieced together and doesnât have corners but works fine for keeping them safe from our cat.

Custom assembly required
It has enough material to handle a good size tank. The magnetic strips have good holding power. The corner connectors only work for a top mount installation. It snaps together good and is highly customizable. I had a bit of trouble going around my tank filters and either need to get a brace or do some fancy cutouts. I think maybe if they included a plastic cross brace it would ease the installation around filters. Overall the materials are all fine and would be best for aquariums that are non aquatic.
