    Nice Little Betta Tank!
This is a great small tank! Glass and solid except for the plastic lid. The light works well and we haven’t minded plugging and unplugging it to turn it on and off, as there is no switch. The light is plenty bright. I think this tank is a good size for a betta. Easy to set up and clean. It’s actually very pretty and nice to look at. No leaks or issues! A good value.

Small but crystal clear and great size for betta
Adorable tank for my bedside table. Wouldn’t put more than a single betta in the tank it’s pretty small but good sized for one betta fish. I really like it. Thinking about buying another with a black lamp for the living room!

    Starter Beta Tank
I got this aquarium for my baby betta, and overall, it’s a solid choice with simple setup. The design is sleek and modern. I’m no beta expert but he seems to be adjusting fine. Set up is super easy. A couple of things I dislike:
⚠️ No Light Switch – The light secures very well on the side and plugs into the wall, but it does not have an on/off switch. It has to be unplugged to turn it off, which is pretty inconvenient.
⚠️ Lid Design – The lid isn’t secure and does have a hole on the top (for super easy feeding). The hole measures around 3inches in diameters. My beta is so small, and doesn’t seem to be a jumper so it doesn’t matter but so I’d recommend checking that out if you have a jumper.

    Nice little tank.
Water tested it to check the seals first and everything was good to go. I swapped the light for something stronger, the lid is nice with a large hole (when combined with the bubbler I added), unfortunately causes splash out. But it was easily covered. Great little tank for my growing Triops.

Be mindful of what you put inside.
I am using this tank to grow out aquarium grass and use as a quarantine tank. THIS SHOULD NOT HOLD AN ADULT BETTA. We see cruelty in pet stores, where animals are in small cages with many of their kind and betta are in tiny, cute cups, but that doesn’t mean they are meant to live their whole lives like that. They put them in small cups because they sell quick, like a grab and go, and most of the animals are babies or also sell quick. People have a misunderstanding that this is the norm for these animals. Betta, like many of their cousin breeds, live in shallow ponds and can breathe from the surface with their labyrinth organ. Please note, they prefer a wide, shallow (8-12 inch depth) tank and are known to jump at least a few inches so they should have a lid or a few extra inches of space between the surface and the rim. A single betta male could live in a 5-10 gallon fairly comfortably with a filter (without too much water movement, maybe sponge filter) and places to hide (think plants, etc.), but this tank is NOT A ‘BETTA’ tank. If you would like something to live in this tank, long term, I might suggest up to 5 shrimp or maybe a couple pom pom crabs, but not both at once. If you are heavily planted and can create a new lid/screen over the current one… you might get away with a couple tetra but I hate to suggest it because of the water requirements their waste would leave. To have more than some plants and a few shrimp is NOT A BEGINNER SUGGESTED tank setup. Smaller does not mean easier.
Having said that, this tank is great for growing out hairgrass, keeping shrimp (if you can find a heater small enough or have it in a warm room), and quarantining new fish to make sure you aren’t introducing tetra with parasites or fin rot to your existing tank population. It looks nice and doesn’t take up much space in, say, a guest bathroom or office. Be aware that it loses a lot of water if you do run a heater in this tank because it is open. I solved this by cleaning a sour cream lid and placing it over the hole on top lol (it still has cord and oxygen exchange room in the back slit, I wish it had another closed lid option or hole cover).

Received a used tank with the box taped together
Just got this today. I ordered this one, and a plastic tank from another brand. I placed two separate orders since this was glass, and I wanted to be sure it didn’t get damaged in shipping bumping against the other tank. For some reason both orders were shipped in one box with just a strip of plastic air bags tossed in. Thankfully this did not break in shipping. However, I was very disappointed when I took the box out and saw that the Marina box had clearly been torn open and was covered in a lot of clear packing tape to hold it together. The flaps that should’ve been inside were on top and taped down, covering the picture on top of the box. I realized it was because the box had been torn open and that was the only way they could close it. When I finally got the rest of the tape off, I noticed that the small box that holds the light had also been ripped open and the light was shoved back into it. There were a couple of small pieces of styrofoam inside to help protect it, but not enough for all sides. The aquarium itself did not appear damaged, although one of the seams where the two pieces of glass connect was a little off. It’s not that noticeable, but as a result the plastic lid will not sit flush on top of the tank, one corner always flips up. As for the design itself, I really like the glass cube, but I hate the way the light attaches. There’s just a little notch out of the plastic that is not flexible and you have to force it down onto the side of the tank, which wouldn’t matter much if the side was plastic, but it’s glass. I do like that the light is removable at least, in case I decide to ever use the tank as a planter. The light doesn’t appear to have an off switch, if it’s plugged in it’s on. Although the top center of my light is pushed in a bit on one side, so perhaps it’s supposed to and mine is stuck. I’m just extremely disappointed that I received what was obviously a return. I checked my order and it listed the condition as brand new. I don’t think I was missing any parts, but there were also no instructions. I couldn’t return it even if I wanted to, because removing the many layers of clear tape destroyed what was left of the box. Right now I have it sitting full of water to make sure it doesn’t leak before I trust it with a fish. I bought this as temporary housing for baby fish, and later I’ll probably use it as a quarantine tank. I just don’t like the idea that something I’m using for a live animal was not in the new condition it was promised as. The price has gone up in the two days since I ordered as well. If you’re trying to picture the size, take a cd jewel case, add about an inch to the top, and that’s roughly the side of each side.. As another reviewer stated, the hole in the top would probably allow a fish to jump out, so I’ll have to cover it with something like they did. Overall, I like the minimalist look of it, but I wouldn’t recommend the seller.

This is a nice tank, would have been 5 stars if it wasn’t advertised for bettas. It would be cruel to keep a fish in a tank this small. I keep some sea monkeys in here and java moss, and am planning on some triops soon. Had to get an adapter for the light, and the circle in the middle means dust gets in easily, but besides that it’s a nice desktop tank.
Would advise keeping plants in here and not fish.

    I loved it because:-
I really wanted a table top tank to have my beta due to space constraints. This is a compact yet comfortable size for Beta
It is a good quality, good looking product.
Only thing you need to think before buying is that it cannot accommodate normal size heaters… Or any filter…. It is too small for that
Honesty, if you wish to give heater and filter to your Betta, go for something bigger. After putting sand and decoration , this tank can hold 2 liters of water.

Merci beaucoup. Cet aquarium est magnifique.
