The Right Tools for Moving Mats
These are absolutely awesome! I did a full readjustment of two stalls’ worth of mats so far, and it helped save me a lot of uncomfortable wrestling with those 6’x4′ heavy rubber giants all us horsepeople are familiar with. The tools are solid, durable, and work off a simple concept of the movable latch in the grip area closing against the mat when pulled against the mat. To undo it, you just push the release trigger on the top. Easy peasy. If you have stall mats, these are a must have!

Super easy to hold!
I’ve been doing a lot of weekend warrior work, and some of it involves moving pieces of plywood and heavy pieces of siding. These, while not the intended use case, have been a god send. My hands are all beat to heck from just gripping and ripping it, and tearing them up, and this has saved that lately. My wife thanks youThese are great, and a great value. Slight difficulty to place
Overall, they work, but the ends are a little thick to easily slide under the mat. The mat I tried them on is a stall mat I use to line the bed of my truck, which may have contributed to the difficulty. Because of that, and how stiff the springs are, it takes 2 hands to get the tool on the mat. Once the tools are in place and gripped on the mat, it holds tight and moves the mat easily. They seem like they will hold up.

If you have mats to move, you need this
I pull the mats out of my horse trailer once per year. I hate that job. Wrangling the mats to check the floor is the third worst thing about owning horses (the second being hay and the first that they will eventually die).These grippers worked really well. Made that chore so much easier.

Saves the back!
I love these “Mat Movers” tool sets and got this one to drag my large floor rugs around when I want to clean my hardwood floors. I have another set out in the horse barn but got this one when I realized that it is just as awkward to move my big rugs up at the house. The main idea is to be able to move these awkward, heavy items easily without getting into a position that might cause back strain. These tools work great!I realize that anything made of plastic will eventually wear out, and the most likely area on these would be the threads on the gripping lever, but using these should still last for years! My set was $35.99, and Amazon was offering a 10% coupon bringing the price down to $31.99. For the ease, convenience, and saving me much pain and physician costs, I found this set to be a huge bargain. These are definitely a “need to have” option for moving any kind of large mat or carpet!

Great little invention!
With all the new washable rugs we’ve been accumulating and arthritic hands, this is a great solution! They are clearly designed for heavy rubber mats but work just as well on the rugs. Adds additional grip strength to combat my dog’s special talent of standing on whatever rug I’m trying to move.

They work really well
I use these for moving 4×6′ 3/4″ thick stall mats. They are really helpful as it gives you a handle. Moving the mats around without these is difficult as it is hard to hold onto them. I also have the name brand mat movers that can be picked up from your local big box farm store, these work just as well but the plastic on these is not quite as thick. They are well worth it for the money though.
