Very Happy With This Purchase!
This is a great purchase at this price as it includes a perch and two bowls for food and water which enable it to do double duty as a spare temporary cage. Many bird carriers are practical only for brief periods of transport because they’re small and unable to accommodate food and water and have inadequate perches. This one even has plenty of room to hang a toy – plus a sliding tray for cleanliness so that the bird isn’t standing in it’s own waste.It more than comfortably accommodates birds the size of African Grays (for which I use this carrier) or Amazons; however, I’d definitely suggest something larger for for birds that are bigger than Amazons.And….. the bar spacing is too far apart for smaller birds such as conures, but there is a scaled down size available that should be appropriate.

Perfect fit for us
I have an African Grey (Timneh, so the smaller of the two types) and as we were moving, I wanted to make sure she had space in the car. This was perfect. She has room to climb around, the door supports her weight when she perches on it open, the tray at the bottom slides in and out easy (but does have a clip on the sides to keep in).I am planning to wrap the wood perch in rope, as my bird didn’t like it much- it was smoother/slippery compared to what she has in her home cage. I also had to clip the top front and back centers as the top seems to sag a little.If you buy a water bottle, I’d suggest getting one with a spring tension to hold. The one I bought didn’t quite fit the cage so as the car hit bumps in the road, it kept shaking and leaking.Overall, one of the best purchases for our bird. She travels well in it.

Easiest set up ever!!!
This was the best purchase ever!!!. I moved from one state to another very long drive and my African Grey was in this cage for the move for over 24 hrs. (I’m assuming she was comfortable, I was not in there!) But she looked as comfortable as possible for a long move. It was super easy to put together. It pops right up. Only screws was for the food and water dish. And it was sturdy!! I was impressed and so happy with this item.

Its ok paint was already chipping in latch and its not made very well.Ok for travel in the car but wouldnt leave my bird in there for long.Very small wires so she cant sit comfortably on top of cage either

We ordered this as a boarding cage for our Electus Parrot. It arrived on time and is exactly what we were looking for. The price was reasonable, and the workmanship is great. The breakdown feature allows us to store when not in use. Good quality product and I would recommend it to a friend.

Flying without Feathers
We sold our house and are in the process of moving into an apartment. We will have a three week period between house and apartment. If it was not for the good graces of two of our near children to provide shelter would be living under the bridge with our condor parrot at least well house. It really make it easy to move him from one grand child to another. It is very easy to fold up (and is steady) and down flat, change out the liner, or take it out back and hose it down. He can go in the car or a motel with ease. I was concerned about it being so much smaller that the real home cage at the bird would got claustrophobia. In stead he is more interactive and physically closer to everyone.
