Works really well in substantial outdoor waterfall
I really like the Microbe-Lift products. I use them in my aquariums and not been disappointed. My substantial outdoor water fall has a lot of wild life so I wanted something safe to slow or kill the algae. It stopped the growth and killed what was rampantly growing. No impact on the wild life. They have a sludge eating product that i use with it which helps with the cleaning by keeping the debris easy to break up and pump out.

Eliminated algae growth in my decorate fountain.
For some reason, this is the first summer that I’ve had algae growth in one of my fountains, which I’ve had for fifteen years. I think it’s because of the excessive heat on the west coast.The green algae grew in long strands and adhered to the walls of the fountain with a strong bond, so it was difficult to clean it manually. It also clogged up the underwater pump.Within a day, the algaecide killed the growth and a few days later I was able to “scrub” it off the walls. Now I put in a couple of tablespoons periodically and it stays clear.

It kills algae. With some unseen downsides.
Pros: it does what itâs supposed to do, KILLING algae. Follow the directions and youâll get the results you want. The images I have posted may be a little misleading, the first photo is about a 2 weeks ago and the 2nd photo is now, the algaecide killed the algae but it didnât fix the color of the pond; That was the pump. Which, by the way, $79 on Amazon. Works great.Cons: killed my fish, snails, shrimp, everything in my pond dead. 2 beautiful koi, an apple snail, an Inca snail, and an assassin snail. This is most likely due to the algae dying and sucking the oxygen out of the pond.

Way better than expected
I bought this because my automatic watering system requires a water reservoir. After a couple days of filling it, water becomes green and nasty. I added just a dap of this product to the water, and the next day it was crystal clear, I was in awe! This thing works really good, and it does not damage my plants, so it is truly safe for plants. 10 out of 10! Please buy and help the vendor stay in business ð¬

Did not work and almost killed my fish
Did not work and almost killed my fish in my small pond.I would suggest getting a UV sterlizer and add it to a slow flowing pump.Cleared up all the agle within a couple days. Fish are much happier.
