Microbe-Lift Nite-Out II is designed specifically for aquarium waters that contain marine life. Its highly-specialized microbial consortium of nitrifying cultures are specially formulated to eliminate ammonia via a natural biological process termed nitrification. The cultures contain in Microbe-Lift Nite-Out II will establish, promote, or stabilize and maintain nitrification in aquarium waters, eliminating the toxic effect of ammonia. Microbe-Lift Nite-Out II liquid nitrifying bacteria contains select strains of Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter. Nitrosomonas oxidize ammonia to nitrite and Nitrobacter oxidize nitrite to nitrate.

It works! It takes a few days to fully work so be patient! This with adding a new filter took my tank levels from a 5 in Nitrites (scared me so much) to a 0! I would absolutely recommend this product. It didnât affect my fish whatsoever negatively and within a day the fish that were lethargic from high levels, perked back up which was a huge relief! Itâs been a couple weeks since and my levels are still doing beautifully and the fish are as happy as could be.

That is immediate ammonia spike nitrite spikeGet rid of the nitrites and the ammonia will stay far awayI usually add with a freshly Rinsed cleaned pre filter / mechanical and then a rinsed charcoal filter. Not new but the previous one just rinse it.
