Great way to feed the birds and not the squirrels!
This was a great find for me! My cats and I love seeing the birds come to eat at my multiple feeders, but hated the squirrels coming in and stealing or spilling it all the time. One time of trying this feed and the squirrels have never bothered the feeders again!

What is solid but crumbles?
This is a solid cylinder of seeds. There is nothing to hang it from. When I took off the plastic wrapper, it began to fall apart and crumble. Unusable. However, I got a refund and did not have to return the item–which would have been impossible anyway. I would never buy this again.

Keeps squirrels away!
Love this! Can’t seem to keep the feeder filled before I’m turning around and reordering as so many different birds eat it up. And the wonderful thing, no squirrels or raccoons have touched once! I have tried other hot feed but this one is the best!

Once again no packing material. Cylinder damaged.
I donât know if this is Amazons problem or Mr. Birds problem for not specifying how the cylinder should be packed. But Iâd highly advise against purchasing from Amazon. Imagine how much of the birdseed falls off when rattling around in a box during ship. Otherwise, the product is a good product.

Only keeps squirrels away when brand new
This is a large sized cylinder and the birds love it. It fits on the cylinder feeder I got from Wild Birds. Unfortunately it only keeps the squirrels away when it’s first unwrapped. Then after it’s been out awhile, and especially after it rains, the squirrels don’t seem to mind the spiciness at all. Not sure if the spice doesn’t go all the way through the cylinder or what, but it doesn’t seem to work very long. Otherwise it’s a nice product I like how easy it is to use.
