Customers find them fun to use, especially with young children, and appreciate that they’re simple to clean. The durability and size receive mixed feedback – while some say they hold up well with kids, others report they break easily, and while some find them the perfect size, others say they’re much smaller than expected.

These are cute
These are cute and great for pie crust. I just wish they had more options and designs. Like an Apple for apple pie I think would be great instead of an acorn

These are great BUTâ¦.
These are wonderful cookie cutters and make it so easy to have homemade animal crackers. Make sure you are unscrewing the metal plunger to disassemble the cookie cutter to clean. I thought I had been thoroughly cleaning them but this morning noticed a black spot in the top of the giraffe head. I unscrewed it and found old molded cookie dough. Ugh. I love these but just make sure youâre not just soaking and rinsing. Cookie dough can get behind the moveable parts.

Cookie impression
Used these to squash my peanut butter cookies. I use crunchy peanut butter. I use the impression not the fork. I dip the plunger into sugar then impress the cookie dough. Worked great. VERY easy to wash. I love the designs nd they left a nice impression. The size fit the cookie perfectly. Nicely priced. Just have to make sure i keep the plunger & the impressions together. They could be misplaced from each other.

Wonderful cutters in cute gift box!!
I’ve been baking a lot lately and decided to replace many of my daughter’s store bought crackers and cookies with homemade (healthier) varieties. So, I looked online for some good cookie cutters that were reminiscent of the cute little animals crackers I used to eat when I was a child and stumbled upon these.I had never used plunger type cookie cutter before and many of the cutters that I viewed were designed for fondant or were just too big, though, I’m sure fondant cutters would work just fine too. I can say they worked out perfectly just as advertised, they even arrived in a cute little gifting box with a lemon cookies recipe! The cookies I baked were fairly small, about 2 inches at most and came out relatively thin, with all the cute animal details and crisp edges. They looked so good, I was able to convince my daughter that they were from the store!! Keep in mind that these are slightly harder to clean since they are somewhat detailed and of the plunger variety, I probably wouldn’t put these in the dish washer. But, overall I’m super happy with these and have been using these almost every week for the past couple months.

Good size. Used to make top of fruit pie. A bit difficult removing cut outs from the cutters

Used these with making cookies and pie crust decorations. Great that they have push feature to push out the cutouts. Also the presses are very defined.

I recently purchased the cut-outs. They work like a charm. Dough doesn’t stick to the cut-out and clean-up is a breeze – just flick off the excess flour with a clean, dry pastry brush. For example, I used them with a savoury dough on cornish pasty style meat pies for decoration and identification – maple leaf for beef, heart for chicken. Stick the cut-out on over egg washed dough and brush the cut-out with a bit more wash. They stayed on and browned up nicely. Sweet!I also made a ton of extra hearts and maple leafs with the dough scraps. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and lay the cut-outs flat. Freeze for a few hours (until completely hard) then transfer to an air-tight container for deep-freeze storage. To use: pull them out frozen and “glue” with egg wash. Voilà !
