Compared with regular clear glass, the Low-iron glass, also known as extra-clear glass, provides maximum brightness and clarity with a higher visible light transmittance.
This kind of glass is manufactured by reducing the amount of iron in the molten glass formula, so it doesn’t have that greenish tint and it can increase the flow of natural light, making your aquarium look much brighter and seamless.

Really nice tank, came packaged well and in one piece.I got the model that comes with a lid and leveling mat. The lid sits close to the tank and is a tad bigger by a few mm. Would make a good terrarium lid, Iâd probably find a way to elevate it slightly from the tank with some rubber feet if I use it for an aquarium. Some reviews said the mat is a bit thin, and it is, but it seems plenty solid enough to hold the 7 or so gallons of this tank and stand up to small bits of debris underneath. You could always add one, but this one has a low profile to keep the tank looking sleek.I havenât decided what to do with it yet, so Iâll update if thereâs a leak, but in the meantime, seems like a solid kit.*After inspection the tank, I saw what looked like two big scratches on one side. No big deal, that can be the back of the tank. They had that scratched glass feel to them. However, I took a damp paper towel and wiped it down vigorously in the chance it was glue or something, and it was. So if you see something that looks like a scratch, try to buff it off with a damp paper towel or other non-scratch material.

Donât buy unless you like water everywhere
Good looking tank but terrible quality. Bought one of these back in September and worked great until I came home one night to find water leaking out of the bottom corner after two months of having it. Wasnât sure I could seal it up myself so opted to buy another cause of its size and the price. Tested my second one for leaks as soon as it arrived and less than a day later water was leaking from the corner. Very disappointing. Do not recommend for anyone unless you have experience sealing aquariums.If you want something similar for the same price go for the UNS 25C – 4 gallon rimless. Looks exactly the same but is much better quality.

Perfect for wabi kusa! Still waiting on my ball and plants but Iâm really happy with the price and value of this, works perfect for a little desk wabi kusa setup. Not the same quality as a DOOA but looks almost as good and costs much less.

Le premier est arrivé cassé. Après hésitation, j’ai tout de même décidé de prendre le risque d’en commander un autre parce que je le voulais vraiment et c’est introuvable en animalerie. Le retour est facile et le remboursement rapide.Le deuxième est arrivé intact et bien emballé. Très belle qualité du verre quoiqu’un peu dispendieux.Et pour le prix, c’est dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de couvercle fourni mais j’en ai fabriqué un en achetant un cadre-photo au Dollarama (voir photos). J’ai retiré le fond et les 8 petites tiges de métal et avec des pinces et sans briser la vitre, j’ai enlevé délicatement une des 4 bordures du contour par morceaux! Cela permet donc de faire passer les fils en laissant un petit espace et permet également une circulation d’air. Le résultat est très joli!Ce couvercle permet à la lumière de passer et prévient l’évaporation de l’eau et l’évasion de mon Betta! Ce n’est pas un gros volume d’eau, je sais, mais c’est quand même mieux qu’un gobelet! Avec des plantes naturelles, des pierres, du vrai bois et sur fond de sable, il semble beaucoup apprécier son nouveau loft! Il aime bien s’amuser dans les bulles du mini filtreur! Trop mignon!J’adore ce petit nano aquarium et je le recommande! Merci

So pleased with this rimless shallow glass aquarium. The quality and clarity of the glass is evident. The structure is sturdy and very well made. I definitely waited for a sale and a promo coupon to reduce price. I am currently using it to enclose submerged lava rocks to grow pinguicula (pings aka plants) on. Looks very elegant. Would certainly consider buying another one!
