Wonderful dry food
This is a pretty decent dog food if youâre looking for one thatâs âhealthierâ than whatâs at the store. Good ingredients and my dogs loved it. They ran out of their other food so I didnât get to gradually transition them like I wanted to, but after they ate this food it didnât bother them at all. They seemed to love it and it had no ill effect on their bellies. I have two yellow lab pups and currently thereâs a lot of food I have to be careful with to not give them diarrhea, so I was happy this dry food didnât bother them at all. I do wish it was a little cheaper, but I paid almost the same amount for other dog food that didnât have as good of ingredients.

Good but expensive
UPDATE: 01/31/2025 Fourth month in and my dog is doing great. Only problem is this month I didn’t get my Natural Balance. I got Blue Buffalo Select Perfect Skin and Coat. It is Salmon but it has grains in it. That, I was trying to stay away from. It is still free of Chicken of any kind and the other things that bother her so we will give it a whirl. Somebody wasn’t doing there job because it doesn’t say my regular food is out. It is too much of a hassle to send it back. We will see how it goes. Of course I was charged for my other food which was $1+ more. LOL The Natural Balance does last longer than the other food she was getting. I free feed but she doesn’t eat a whole lot at a time. Which is good.I switched to it for the limited ingredients and it seems to suit my baby just fine. It is expensive but she is worth it. She is a Black Mouth Cur and starting to get up there in age. But if she’s happy’ I’m happy.

Great quality, and pea free!
So I didnât realize how many dogs have pea allergies, but after testing our dog at the vet, we realize she has a very high pea allergy and that this is not uncommon. So I was on a mission to find the best hard food that did not contain peas or pea protein⦠and that was really difficult. A lot of dog foods use the protein. This one not only is clean of peas, but it also is really good quality. The kibble doesnât fall apart or get dusty. It really stays together and feels almost wet. Our dogs love it and we love that we found our new favorite dog food!

The best dog food ever
We have a rescue dog Polo the Cockapoo who came to us at 8 years old with skin and eye issues, he was almost bald. After years of vet visits, allergy shots and all kind medication we could never fully get rid of the scabby skin and goopy eyes. We have tried supplements, creams, medicated baths, food changes and still nothing, his eyes were so bad they had to be cleaned constantly. So during one of his bad skin episodes we were back to the vet due to another skin infection and the fill in vet said to try Salmon and Sweet potato food. I reached everyone brand that made this I could find. I didn’t have much hope because of the fillers we had tried many kinds of food already. Natural Balance checked all my boxes especially not having fillers. Our Polo has been on this food over about 3 months. Polo has not been back to the vet for his skin or eyes, He is off his allergy medicine and no more goopy eyes. Polo loves this food my only issue I have not been able to find it in a small breed size. Polo is missing most his teeth and I’m sure I will need to crush it as he continues to age. This is an honest review. I have not received any free product or compensation.

Think they changed the formula. Not suitable for my dog anymore. Skin gotten worse and he is no longer looking forward to his meals anymore. Still have 3 more packets unopened.
