I have a very picky senior shorkie, who has had some teeth pulled, so I needed a kibble that was small enough in size that he could efficiently chew, and I was really hoping this food would be something he’d like (chicken is his all time favorite). This has fit the bill on both aspects! He also has gastro issues on just about everything because of food sensitivities. I’m thrilled to report that he hasn’t suffered the runs, experienced any vomiting or anything bad, switching to this food. I did transition him slowly by adding little bits of this to his old brand, and it worked to our advantage because his BM’s are back to normal and he’s eating like we want him to.This bag features a zip-top closure which I really like. Our bag came marked with a “best by” date of 2/08/25. Feeding guide is printed on the back of the package. Nature’s Recipe is owned by JM Smucker (the jelly manufacturer).

Very affordable ingredients are pretty good dogs liked it a lot and they’re very picky and they have no problems chewing on it They were very small bites so that’s a plus especially for some that don’t have teeth ðð, can’t say anything about the taste cuz you know I’m not going to taste it ð¤£ð¤£, overall my fur babies loved it we’ll be ordering again soon.

Was trying to find a quality dogfood and the dog seems to like it. Grain free but it does have an odor so l keep it closed up. Doesnât cause the dog to stink but seems to be a good quality food at a reasonable price.

I love that i can order this to my door for a lovely price. This dog food is always gone by the time i get to the grocery store. I can find it in a pet store but for a lot more money.

Has a very strong, unpleasant odor.
I have never encountered a dog food with such an aroma. The ingredients are acceptable as far as kibble goes however the smell is overwhelming. I have three dogs, only one will eat it. My Chihuahua looked at me like I was crazy and preferred the big kibble I feed my larger dog. The value was good as I got it for about $10, compared to almost twice the price at Petco. I would not recommend feeding your dog this food anywhere near where you will be sitting or eating. Literally smells like a dog fart.
