It all began in 1994, with our rescue white lab, Winston, who was diagnosed with arthritis and hip dysplasia. Several vets recommended putting him down, but this was never an option for us.
We began researching alternative medicine while working with Dr. Pedro Rivera, a renowned holistic veterinarian.

Allergy aid works so well, my dog is able to stay off medications
My 60 lb mixed breed dog has had terrible allergies in the past that were treated through the use of medications, primarily prednisolone, which has bad side effects in stimulating hunger and thirst, and is also not great to keep your dog on long-term. I decided to try this natural product, and my dog has been drug free ever since. It began to work within one week, and we have gone through both spring and summer allergies with no allergy behavior (uncontrollable itching/scratching, paw chewing, etc). What a relief to find a product that has such good ingredients and that works so well…all at a very affordable price. I have recommended it to about five dog owner friends, and they have all met with equal success. I believe this product would work for any type of environmental allergy (but probably not food allergies.). Thank you Naturvet!!

Bulldog’s skin allergies are gone
I cannot speak highly enough about this product. My English Bulldog has all kinds of skin and food allergies and each year in the spring/summer he gets horrible skin reactions and hives. We had finally found a food that helped but he got bladder stones and had to go on a specific diet that agitated his skin. I’m very into holistic health for myself, I did a lot of research on supplements for my dog. I found a list of different things that could help him but it would cost a fortune to buy each thing separately. After a lot of searching I finally found this product which all of those supplements combined and none of the nasty ingredients he needs to avoid. In addition to this product he gets probiotics and fish oil and this year he hasn’t had any allergic reactions! As a bonus, he loves the taste. I’m a customer for life, just don’t change anything.

I have been giving these to my dogs who suffer from dry skin. They seem to be aiding the skin but have not seen any miracles. I also give them the vitamin ones.

Definitely Worth it!
My dogs take these easily and seem to like the taste. This has helped their allergies and itching a lot! My chihuahua sneezes a lot but this has helped him so much!

I was skeptical
I was skeptical on trying these since our purebred Labradorâs skin was so bad… I just assumed take him to the vet at this point but I held onto a little hope that these might work… Our Lab Rivers skin is healing up and starting to look clear after about two weeks of use. We arenât even giving him the full âdoseâ most days. We will be buying the big container once these are gone (we bought 90 chews to try). Thankful these saved us a vet trip!

Horrible
My two cats went almost 3 days without eating as I was trying to get them to eat these treats as I had a purpose for the description of these that I felt one of our pets needed. I later gave them to a friend trying to give them a second opportunity and I was told her cats would NOT touch them either. So how or why anyone would brag on this item is beyond me… I have to post as Horrid product.

After being out-of-pocket due to numerous visits to the vet, many rounds of medications, injections and anti-bacterial/fungal shampoo I finally found a product thatâs helping my toy poodles with itchy skin! Itâs helped soooo much that I ordered 3 extra bags! Great job, NaturVet!!!

My cat used to like the omega treats by this same brand, but this one intrigued me to help with allergies/ congestion and it also has omegas so wanted to give them a try. He ate the first one day one, but day 2 came he only ate half, and further days he put them in his mouth, tried to eat it, then spit it out. Now he sniffs it and walks away. My cat is not one to turn away food, so he really must not like them, which sucks cause these are pricey.
