Love it!
Works great & the cats love it. Does make a slight hissy noise which one of the cats doesn’t care for but I can easily turn it off/on to help with his tolerance of it. Takes a lot of hair out and gives a little cleaning too.

Nice steam brush
I recently purchased this brush to use on my small pups. It is easy to use and the steam lasts long enough to brush both of them. It does a nice job to spruce them up between groomings. Not sure how it would work on bigger dogs or ones with lots of thick fur, but on small dogs or cats, its great. Recommend!

So, as others have said, this is definitely just a fine mister and not any actual steam (which, honestly, would probably not be terribly safe anyway as we don’t want any chance of our kitties getting a steam burn). That said, it does give you a very nice, fine mist that helps to trap the shed fur onto the brush so it can be easily disposed of. Our cats don’t mind the mist as long as they don’t see it much – we can’t use it anywhere near their heads but on their backs and sides is fine. Overall, we are finding that this works just as well as our other favorite brush but without us having to explicitly spritz the brush itself with water. It also seems like the bristles on this one are going to hold up better than the other one so that’s a definite win.

No Steam – But a Better Brush
While this is touted as a steambrush it only looks like steam – it’s really only water vapor that looks like steam. As far as a brush, it is, and, indeed, it is a rather good one. I’ve used it several times now and find that the soft, flexible plastic brush probes do “grab” loos hair from our cat leaving the remaining, not loose hair, smooth and even. It is also easy to remove the hair from the brush in hunks in the case of our long haired cat.

My cats favorite brush
Product works as intended, easy to use. I brushed my 2 boy cats and they were purring so loudly. One cat was a little hesitant about the mist at first but I just turn off after a few seconds and continue brushing. Fur is removed easily from brush after a decent amount was collected.

I was surprised by how well this brush worked to remove lots of under lying and semi-matted fur from our older, fluffy kitty. ð³ Wow!She tolerated me brushing her out for a long period of time, and seemed to really enjoy it. I was also surprised just how much fur it did remove and safely. I am sure she felt so much better afterwards.We have a few pet hair brushes and combs for cats, but this product seems to be the best so far, for removing under lying fine fur as well as helping to de-matt clingy fur too.I felt that it was easier to brush the kitty while outside on our deck so that I could gather and bag most of the fur. But also, any tiny bits of fur could easily blow away and not get caught up on my clothing. Just so you knowâ¦It really isnât the best idea to brush out your pet while wearing nylon or polar fleece, or youâll be wearing some of the fur. ðI watched a video that helped me to decide whether to buy this brush set. In that video, it showed a sped-up version of people brushing out their petsâ fur. DONâT do this fast like in the video. Take your time and slow down, your pet will enjoy it much more if there are no sudden movements.It is well worth the price!
