Handheld monitor poor quality but otherwise decent
UPDATE: at 6 months this camera just stopped working. Stopped connecting to the monitor and phone. Garbage. Too late to return. The customer service troubleshooting is trash. They are clearly not tech people; just an out of country outsourced customer service that asks you to follow troubleshooting steps they have on a script. Every question you ask (even simple ones like where can I find the id number) they put you on hold to âfind the answerâ.****Have used this for almost 6 months. Picture quality and mobility of camera great, app on phone decent, handheld monitor very poor quality.Love that I can mount the camera pretty much anywhere.App works decent – takes maybe 5-10 seconds to load which isnât the best, But like that I can view even when outside of the home.Handheld monitor has short battery life, loses connection, makes this annoying beeping sound when it loses connection. Picture quality on the device is good when it works but is otherwise completely terrible and unreliable. If you donât care for the handheld monitor then this isnât a bad choice. But I like having a monitor that runs while I sleep (as opposed to having the app on my phone open and running).The price was right but if I could do it over, Iâd probably just have bit the bullet and bought one of the expensive ones.

I love this camera. I looked for one this versatile all my pregnancy.Its really easy to set upYou can move it easily. It is very flexible.The image is very good and adapts to the light in the roomYou can use it with your cell phone and with the monitor. This is what I was looking for the mostIt has motion alerts and cry detectionIt has some things to improve:The monitor battery discharges very quickly.The camera can get very hot when in use.Sometimes the monitor loses the signal and the image takes a while to update. (Although I think it is due to my wifi connection)I really recommend it. I am very happy.

UPDATE: reached out to me to try and replace the camera it give a refund and they ghosted me. SERIOUSLY DONâT SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THISI absolutely hate this monitor and I HIGHLY suggest going a different route.1. Horrible picture. Canât barely see if baby eyes are open or if chest is rising and falling.2. THE WORST BATTERY LIFE.3. When battery gets low it starts beeping VERY loud and quick for a solid 30 seconds before stopping. Not sleeping baby friendly.4. The two way audio DOESNT WORK! For something that has a giant mic button it that literally doesnât do anything itâs infuriating.5. Takes absolutely forever for the monitor to turn on. You can press the power button a few times too before itâll even try to turn on.6. They are clearly lying about this product and itâs taking from families. Spend your dollars on something thatâs actually worth it please. Donât give yourself this headache.

Overall great purchase and a must have for travel!
This is a fantastic purchase and fits a few key needs for us, so let’s start with the pros:1. Netvue uses USB-C connectors! I cannot stress how much I appreciate the USB-C connector type on the camera and the monitor.2. Easy setup! The setup of the camera and monitor was straight forward and I had the system working within minutes3. Perfect travel system! The flexible camera is AMAZING and makes for an easy camera to travel with. Our eufy system is quite a bit heavier and larger, making for a more clunky option than the Netvue.4. The video and audio quality are excellent and exceed that of our Eufy system.5. Netvue customer support is top notch and is a major selling point for a product we are trusting the life of our child to!!6. The feeding timers are a great addition! My wife mentioned she would have LOVED this while nursing and we’re going to remember this for the next baby.7. I’m a huge fan of the wifi only capability between the monitor and camera. You can set up the app, which is also secure and requires a QR code and wifi password to use.While we are huge fans of this system, it is not without its issues. The following are our constructive feedback that I hope to follow up with customer support on:1. The monitor battery life isn’t great. We usually have it plugged into the wall power or plugged into a portable phone battery, so this isn’t a big deal but this does inhibit use if you don’t have a portable battery and are outdoors or away from power outlets.2. The date and time keep resetting when the monitor dies. I have not yet tried the app, so it’s possible this will help to resolve the issue. It isn’t a major issue anyways, but a bit of a nuisance.3. The monitor screen turns off quite quickly and the settings don’t seem to help.While the product has some room for improvement, these are minor issues in compared to the overall satisfaction and quality of the unit. This baby monitor is also priced well, which makes the quirks more tolerable. I can’t speak highly enough about Netvue and this unit has all but replaced our Eufy system we used previously. We don’t wall mount it and instead either use the crib mount (excellent and easy to use) or the flexible boom of the camera to self prop when traveling. We constantly take day trips to visit friends and family, and this has given us peace of mind compared to the audio-only monitors we used to travel with. So don’t wait – if you’re on the fence with this baby monitor then I hope this can help you make the jump – you won’t be disappointed!
