Pros n Cons of Dog door.
Looks nice. Seems sturdy. Definitely need to go to hardware store. The fasteners came with the pet door didnât do it for me. Used screw kit, came with drill bit, screws, and anchors. Screw size 10-1.5 length. This screw size is what I used. Make sure the screws fit properly through the holes. Inner space liner wasnât long enough, the top and bottom. The sides a little long, can cut to size. Double flaps works to keep drafts down.Just be ready to get your animal used to the double flaps.

Great door for the price!
The review from Craig saved me a lot of time!!! Following his instructions, made it fairly simple to install; the only thing that stops it from being five stars are the plastic screws. They were slightly difficult to align and secure; I didnât remove my door from the hinges which in hindsight may have added to the difficulty I had getting the screws to both holes of the doors. I just went back in with my drill bit and opened the hole from the exterior too and that worked.

Your Pet is Likely Smaller (or Larger) than You Think. Get the Door Size Right and Go!
I ordered this pet door for interior use because my partners cats believe they should have the freedom to patrol all areas of our home – even the ones we tend to close off from time to time. The plastic pet door from the folks at Petcoming was the perfect choice for our place. I was originally skeptical about installing a plastic pet door in the house because I felt that the materials wouldn’t hold up long term. I changed my mind when I received the product. It is very well built. Installation was easy for me since we have a full shop on the property, it just took a little door “modification”. Both cats met the new “door” with the same disdain showed to anything new in the house and once the juvenile male saw how easy it was to use, he quickly instructed his mom on the finer points of hiding in the adjacent room and the cat chase began. The doors dual flap design provides some an additional barrier between spaces and serves as a reasonable temperature barrier since we keep the unused portions of the house at a lower temperature during the winter months than those most often occupied by the humans and pets. Functionally, it works as you’d expect. The magnetic closure does its thing and while I likely ordered a door larger than I needed, it fits the door I planned to use quite well. This is a good, well-built product that I’d not hesitate ordering again.

Very nice and easy to install dog door
Iâve used dog doors for my pets, for 20 years. Iâve been very lucky that, Iâve only gone through 2 dog doors, over that period of time. But, we just got a new puppy, thatâs going to need a different size doggie door. So, I saw this one, and ordered it right a way.This dog door appears to be well constructed. The material that the double flaps are made from, seems durable.Except for the plastic screws, the installation was very straight forward. The included template was great, and took the guesswork, out of the project. I replaced the plastic screws with some metal screws I had in the garage, so that was handy. No trip to the hardware store needed.The double flaps, will provide a form of insulation from wind gusts and inclement weather. However, itâll take my 12 week old puppy, a bit more effort to get in and out thru it. The other dog door we have, is a single flap, and sheâs mastered that one. Hopefully, with her experience of using that one, it wonât make it too difficult to figure out this one.The price point for this dog door, is very reasonable. At the time of this review, there was a coupon for an additional 20% off, making this a very good purchase. I recommend this product.

Be aware that this door requires the door or wall to be cut out to install. If replacing a previous door, make sure the size is the same or larger than the original hole so that the fit is tight. It has double flaps to help retin the heat or cool in the room it enters. So if you want a nice sturdy pet door, purchase this one.

Great size with heavy duty flaps
This is a great pet access door. It has the rubber type flaps that bend to allow access through the door and they have magnets on the bottom to help keep them closed. Installation is very easy and the provided template makes cutting out your door a breeze. The plastic frame is sturdy and has some width to it to provide better support. There is also a blank panel with a handle cut out of it to secure the pet door and keep anything from coming or going. What surprised me and I was appreciative of is that they also include 2 Fireman stickers to put on your front door to let them know that there are pets inside in case of an emergency. The included plastic screws are okay but if I was going to use this on an exterior door I would definitely switch them out to stainless steel. I used this on an interior door that leads to my basement and it was a hollow core door and this had no problem and the because of the way it works helped reinforce the door where I had cut the hole which was good. The last thing about this pet door is the price, In stores around here a door like this would sell for over 70 dollars, so this is a great deal for a high quality pet door.
