Works well
I’ve had these before and the net is impossible to clean. However, they DO keep little fry in the basket. I use fishing line around the top bar, and tape the line to the outside of the tank to keep it from falling in. I’ve had the suction cups come unstuck and the basket falls into the tank, and all the fry are eaten. It’s a generous size, and it’s cheap, so if you eventually give up trying to get the netting clean, just get another one.

It looks and feels okay, the size is decent enough I suppose. It functions as needed, and water flows through it well.However, the quality and sturdiness is questionable. For starters, when it arrived the plastic tubes had sharp plastic pieces jutting st the bottom from what I assume to be excess material when casting/printing these. I had to cut the excess off and sand it off so it wouldn’t accidently claim any of my fish.Secondly, the suction cups don’t seem to stick. I’m not sure if it’s a me only issue, but the suction cups just won’t stick to the glass for longer than a couple hours.If you can switch out the suction cups and don’t mind doing a little work, this could be worth it

The suction cups do not stay attached to the box. Horrible design
The way these boxes are designed the suction cups stick great to the glass but over time the box itself does not stay attached to the suction cups and it will fall off the glass and let the baby fish escape leaving the suction cups behind on the glass. I bought 4 of them and the suction cups do not stay attached to any of them. I had to spend another $40 on magnets to keep the boxes held in place against the glass. I’d just purchase something else unless you want to modify these to make them work.

Easy to assemble.
Received item yesterday. And it was tore a little. Easy to assemble, they didnât put any instruction. The net is not quite strong but its okay if you going to use it for baby fish. Overall its okay. Will do an update review.

We use this to help get the small fish separated from larger ones . We want to make sure they get their food. Works great for us.

Works for keeping the little ones safe
I ordered a batch of guppy fry and don’t want to house them in a 2nd tank and double up on my cleaning. I used to own a smaller version and already knew the suction cups don’t work well, so I didn’t even put them on. I use my magnetic glass cleaner to anchor it in place – half inside the net and half outside the tank.

Not much to it…
This thing is cheap and I mean cheap. It is basically a hair net and a super cheap plastic frame. It came with no instructions and even though it was kind of obvious how to put it together in the end the net wasn’t big enough for the box. If you look at the top picture you will see it has lots of overhang of net over the edges if you look at the last picture that is closer to how it really fits but mine doesn’t even go over the edges completely. The suction cups are about as small and flimsy as they make them. Fortunately I have a cleaner magnet i can use to hold this thing to the wall with because I am sure it would let loose in no time at all and whatever you were trying to seperate would be in the tank. It was 11 dollars so I guess you get what you pay for. Although I would not be surprised to find this at the dollar store if they carried this kind of stuff. I would have gone with acrylic but it seems they don’t sell anything like that in acrylic that sits actually in the tank. I didn’t want something hanging off the back. I just wanted something to introduce a true percula to an established one to make sure it wasn’t going to be a instant battle to the death. In the end it will work but again if you don’t have a cleaner magnet or something to hold it against the wall I would not trust it.
