Birds Like It, I like Healty Birds
We have 3 feeders and go through about 1/2 gallon of feed a day. I see some reviews that say their hummers shun this stuff, but our birds love it and seem quite healthy

Better than sugar water alone!
Started giving my hummingbirds these vitamin drops. I add it to the sugar water I make for them 8 drops per 32 oz. I havenât seen any increase or decrease in the birds activity, but I hope they are benefiting from the additional vitamins!

Tried it out, humming birds seem to like it fine. I generally only add half the recommended amount though. I think that’s 3 drops for 1 cup. Make sure the water isn’t hot or you’ll destroy the vitamins when you add it.

Iâve been adding this to our hummingbird feeder for about a month. Iâve since noticed how much brighter the malesâ colors are! And I have a lot more visitors to the feeder! Such a great improvement to sugar water!

Hummingbirds refused to consume!
Directions say 2 drops per 8oz of sugar water, and I started with just one drop per 8oz to see how the hummingbirds would react. I put the vitamin infused sugar water in 2 feeders and regular sugar water in a third.I have a pretty healthy hummingbird community – typically about 6-10 birds are visiting and fighting over the three feeders, and I put the vitamin infused sugar water in the two most popular feeders. After two hours, there had been 0 hummingbirds at either feeder and about 5 were fighting over the one feeder without the vitamins added.I dumped the two feeders and refilled them with regular sugar water. Within 15 minutes, there were hummingbirds at both feeders that had not seen any activity while filled with the vitamin infused water.I threw the bottle away and will stick with just sugar water.

I thought vitamins were a great idea but my birds shun the stuff. Fortified nectar is taken at about 1/2 the rate as simple sugar alone. Perhaps they don’t know what’s good for them.
