Traction Pads We offer two types of traction pads, both made from non-toxic materials:
Printed EVA foam, which is softer and made from the same material used in the soles of running shoes. It’s super easy to keep clean.Felt, which is more durable and can handle occasional scratching and stretching. Fur might stick to this material more easily.

You can have the wheel up and running in less than 15 minutes. No need for professional help or complicated instructions â itâs straightforward, which makes it a hassle-free experience for pet owners. I was super impressed that the pieces snap together much easier and faster than previous models.  The design has undergone some improvements, besides ease of assembly. It’s more stable than previous models, ensuring your cat can run without the wheel wobbling or sliding across the floor. You pick your own design from the wheel color, wheels and traction pad options, to fit into your décor or style. I got the white wheel for a change, and I love how the foam koi pond pads look for the interior pads. Mine seem to like looking at the fish while they walk/run. First Rate Wheel
This is a large cat wheel. Adult cats do best with a larger wheel so they can really stretch out and run. We have this model at the rescue where I work, so I knew what I was getting. The wheel comes packaged in several boxes within a box. All pieces are organized and the instructions are clear and concise. No Googling or scanning QR codes. I’m not even good at hanging a picture, and I had the wheel put together in 1/2 hour with no problem. It goes together well, doesn’t need alot of strength to snap the pieces together, and it is light weight enough to be easily handled. Mine is white with the light grey pads. There is a small amount of noise, but it doesn’t frighten the cats. It rolls smoothly and is easy for them to use. The lights on the wheels are pretty, but that is the one thing that does take some getting used to by our feline friends. They aren’t fans of the lights. I highly recommend this product and appreciate the quality.

Great solution for high energy cats
Know your cat, and you’ll succeed! I’ve been hesitating to get this wheel for a couple of years. I have an orange tabby and a siamese and wasn’t completely sure they would use it. They have a middle level of energy and don’t play for too long, though they have their zoomies from time to time. Wanted to try it for sure, thinking maybe they needed something different, but the price was too high for risks. So, I resisted.Then I adopted a brown tabby kitten, 3 months old. Even though he has a proper name, he is normally referred to as Nandor the relentless, the Kraken, little terror, tiny wrecking ball of hair or baby hurricane. You could play with him until all strenght left your body, and he would still be zooming around for more. I figured this kind of cat is the reason this wheel exists. So, I had confidence in spending $200 for a little peace. And I wasn’t wrong. He used the wheel on day one, and I didn’t even have to train him. He was already all over the parts as I was putting it together, and it only took a couple of treats to get him on it. Then just waved my hand a bit on the inner side, and he went. It took him a few days to get used to it, as he would run too fast and misstep a few times. But now he got the hang of it and he uses it by himself, randomly throughout the day, for a few minutes. And that is enough to give me (and the other cats) a rest and keep his energy in check.My other 2 cats want nothing to do with it. I tried multiple ways of enticing them and it was just a big fat Nope from them. Which was dissapointing, but I kinda knew, deep inside, they had chosen the couch potato life. And it’s ok, even if just the kitten uses it, it’s worth it for peace in the realm.The wheel was very easy to put together, but it is a bit less sturdy than I hoped for the price. And that is the reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5. It is good and sturdy enough for the kitten, but I feel it could definitely be cheaper considering the materials.
