My yorkie loves these as an entire meal, but they can upset her stomach because it’s very high in fat so it performs better as a topper. It’s so good that other dogs try to steal it out of her bowl.It’s an excellent topper and can be broken up easily, works well for dogs with tiny mouths.

Perfect for my immune compromised dog.
I needed something healthier but really convenient for my immune compromised pup. We travel and I needed readily accessible quick and easy food for her. As you know, consistency is a MUST for dogs and this allows for reliable and consistent healthy food for her.I started adding it as a topper to her kibble and have progressively added more of this to about half and half. I routinely also add veggies to her bowl and dried blueberries. Her skin is finally looking great and she has more energy.She is always interested in eating it and doesn’t over eat.So I’m adding it to her long term wellness plan.

Picky Eater issue cured!
I hesitated to buy because I have tried so many foods for my Malshi babies. From vet recommended food, to grain free, to very expensive, highly rated food- they turn their noses up/ sometimes refusing to eat anything.I got this and put one in warm water. As it was dissolving- I heard them running down the hall. I almost didnât make it to the food bowls because they were jumping up at the dish it was in. It smells horrible! But not to them.They are barely two years old, and I have never seen them enjoy a meal this much. They gobbled it up so fast, I gave them another one, and then had to actually hide the bag it came in because they sat and barked at it.I know itâs pricey/ and if I was feeding it to a large dog, Iâd consider it as a topper, but watching them devour this and then fall asleep was worth every penny. I just ordered two more bags. I would definitely put it in warm water to dissolve/ it is very dense- but itâs a must try for dogs that just wonât eat

Orijen is the best
My little ten pound dog’s main food is Orijen Small Breed kibble which is the best kibble on the market.I saw this freeze dried product and decided to give it a try as a topper for the dry food. Tamiko loves it and I feel better about giving him an additional boost of protein. The first eight ingredients of this freeze dried food are animal proteins. Most foods that advertise themselves as being the best usually only have one or two protein sourcesYes, you can buy less expensive food for you dog but for a little more money you can rest assured that you are doing your best to keep your best friend healthy. Tamiko is ten years old and the vet’s always comment about his great condition.
