Perfect
This is a perfect little cat entrance for my screen door. Great for keeping bugs out but unfortunately I installed it upside down and had already cut the screen out so I canât actually use the flap part of it but itâs built great and the locks do work. Itâs very sturdy and is very much attached to the screen. I use it as an entrance into their catio and have had no problems so far. Very easy to assemble, I didnât have to take the screen door off I just had another person help me and it was done within 5 minutes. Just donât be like me and remember to put it right side up so you can actually use the door flap. My cats got the hang of it right away.

What I like about this door is, first and foremost, the ingenuity of designing a door for my cat to get in and out of the slider all summer long without the constant meowing to come in or go out, so thank you for that! LoL. Now for the serious review. The door works fine and as it is designed and it looks good. Iâd give it 5 Stars in all those areas but I had to nail the ease of installation part down a bit because it required a trip to Home Depot (but it was a very minor fix). The screws just didnât cut it – they were just a tad too short. Maybe itâs because we have pet-proof screening and itâs a little thicker? Possible. A little longer of a screw would be ideal and work with all types of screens. But other than that, it was a fairly easy installation, my husband and I tagged teamed it in about 5 minutes but certainly could be installed by a singleton fairly quickly and with minimal tools. My husband is a builder so heâs always modifying everything out of the box, he decided to add a thing layer of glue around the seams just to make it really sturdy and no gaps anywhere for tiny flying critters. Iâm not sure it actually needed it but I can tell you it is super sturdy now so itâs not a bad little tweak. Only downside is the cat wouldnât go near it for a couple days because she smelled the glue. But now she loves the door and so, I love it, too. Donât hesitate to buy this if youâre thinking about it, just plan to take the screws to the local hardware store and match them up for a longer set (a buck or two more).

Perfect size for kitty
I have an indoor cat that dreams of being an outdoor cat. I don’t want to crush his dreams, but I need to keep him safe. So he has an outdoor cat condo (AKA large cage) with the entrance through our kitchen window. (That way he doesn’t interfere with the dog going in and out a million times a day). This little door is perfect for the window, and he goes in and out with no problems. I didn’t have any major trouble installing either.
A couple of things I noticed…if you don’t cut the screen completely, the little screen pieces can rub against the door. I used some sandpaper to smooth the screen around the opening and that helped. Also, there is a magnet at the bottom. Not a big deal, but it does take a little more push to open (in other words, it doesn’t swing freely…it catches in the magnet).
Overall I am very pleased and my cat is too!

Finally found a pet door that works out of the box.
This is my 3rd pet door I purchased in last 4 years. The previous ones did not come with bolts and nuts. They were supposed to be just snapped in, but apparently they did not consider that the door mesh screen come between the frame parts so they did not stay attached. I had to drill holes around the frame and put bolts and nuts that I bought from Home Depot to keep them attached.
This product comes with bolts and nuts, and pre-drilled holes in the frames so it just works out of the box. Easy to install without extra drilling. Happy with it.

Puurfect solution for adding catio and keeping bugs out
I loved finding a cat/doggie door for a screen! Didnât know they existed! We added a catio off our bedroom, with access through the bedroom window, but didnât like bugs being able to fly in..until we heard they make pet doors for screens! This was very simple, quick and easy to install, and the cats figured out how to use it immediately. Perfect solution!

We own a window and door screen repair company, and have installed many pet doors in patio sliders over the past five years. We used to use a different brand of pet door, but had lots of problems with the front and back separating and falling apart, as the two sides only snapped together. If the pets werenât very coordinated and ran into the door a few times, it would fall apart. We decided to try this one and have been much happier. Itâs easier to install, and stays together very well as it has screws all around the frame to secure the two pieces together. It looks super cute too! Our customers love it! Delivery was quick, and product arrived undamaged. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant! I like leaving the screen door open but my dog loves to be on the balcony, but also likes to come and check on me inside my condo every hour or so. Within one day he completely figured it out and loves that when I’m at the house he can go and hang on the balcony when he wants to. He figured how to use it almost immediately by opening it and placing a treat on the other side. Very easy to install, really good price, super pleased!

Installation was very easy and my cat is able to easily get in and out to enjoy the balcony when I’m not around. The whole thing is made of plastic so I’m not worried about my 8 year old cat breaking it. A more energetic cat or small dog however could possibly snap the hinges if they ran through it hard enough. Would give 5 stars if the hinge was reinforced with metal but for the price it does what it’s supposed to do.

Itâs been in use for more than a year with no problems. One screw/nut came loose so I hot glued it. Everything else is still in place. Old cat and new puppy use it daily.
