Oxbow Rabbit Pellets
Oxbow Rabbit Pellets are a wonderful product. I only purchase Oxbow food, treats and toys for my rabbit because ot the safety, care and thought they put into their products for the safe and healthy well-being of your pets. The pellets are always fresh and my rabbit absolutely loves them, so it’s officially bunny approved!

Rabbits love it
Love the brand how nutrious it is for my little fur baby. He loves it, not as much as he loves the fresh veggies he gets every morning but he does love it.

I bought this on accident
I accidentally ordered this but as far as I can see it was still a good product. And it was very fresh.

Good, Fresh Feed That Needs Larger Sizes . . . .
Getting a young bunny for the first time in years made me get this juvenile Garden Select formula. I have been using the adult Garden Select formula with my older rabbit, and consider the ingredients in it better, yet it does not have enough protein for young rabbits or wooly rabbits. Recently, I got a Lionhead boy who has as much hair as an angora and am mixing this juvenile feed with the adult one. Wooly rabbits are supposed to have 18% protein and this juvenile formula has 17%. (The adult has 12%.) He didn’t like the adult formula that much, and much prefers the mixture of the two. All my bags of Garden Select have been fresh with far away expiration dates. I only wish they had larger bags of the juvenile, as they do with the adult. There is no reason to only have a small size.P.S. 1/30/23: My wooly male’s urine smells strong and unpleasant when he eats only the adult Garden Select food, but not when he eats only this juvenile food. My wooly girl really likes it, too, and she is supposed to have 18% protein. So, I’m feeding the boy only the juvenile and mixing the two with my wooly girl. I’m not sure what I will feed my juvenile Holland Lop when she turns one in the spring, however. Maybe a mixture, too.

Healthy and he will eat it!ð
I was afraid that transitioning my little baby from the Oxbow Young Rabbit food to Garden Select would be like when I first introduced the OYR to him and at first he wouldn’t eat. Well, I handfed him these and while OYR has been like crack to him, I am sure in a week he will prefer these. They smell better, contain no soy and contain alfalfa hay for him to grow on. Good thing as he currently prefers pellets to hay. One battle at a time. Relieved to find something without soy for my sweet baby!

My bunny loves them and they even smell good to me. They smell like a field of fresh grass

I have a Holland Lop buck that came home on Purina pellets that were alfalfa based and had soy, corn, etc…. which are all known to contribute to G.I stasis.I had tried to transition Lennon over to Sherwood pellets, but have heard that’s like offering a toddler Kraft Dinner and then giving them kale, and Lennon said no dice, so we nixed the Sherwood and went with the Garden Select version of Oxbow. Garden Select doesn’t have soy or corn products like their Essentials line does.It took a little while for Lennon to eat them…. I was determined to out-stubborn the tiny dictator and I finally won! He’s now excited for breakfast and dinner! (Now the trick will be getting him off the baby alfalfa based pellets and onto the less tasty adult timothy pellets.)The pellets are a nice green (with pellets, the greener the better) and they smell pretty tasty, as far as pellets go. Lennon told me that if I’m not going to give him his “mcdonalds” pellets, and he has to eat these ones, then he would say 10/10, will eat again! (I can actually even use them as treats, he enjoys them so much! Though sometimes, I throw the little guy a bone and use his Purina pellets as forage treats. He always asks me if he’s dying or something when I give him those ones. He’s like, “what’s going on? Why are you giving me these? Why are you being so nice? Am I dying?”)
