Excellent quality chinchilla food
This is one of the best chinchilla food formulations that you can buy on the market. It is great value for the money excellent quality and very low on food dust particles. I am very happy with having purchased this and it is a staple for my chinchillas. The smell is very fresh and the chinchillas eat it up so I know that they like it quite a bit.

Chins LOVED this food
I no longer have my chins, as one passed away and I rehomed the other so he would have a friend again.However, when I had them, this was their FAVORITE food (other than hay and rose hips, of course). No added junk, just plain, simple pellets. One of them suffered from diarrhea with many brands of food, including Kaytee Food From the Wild (even when I picked out all of the added stuff), but Oxbow never gave him that issue.They were happy and healthy, and this food definitely helped them to be that way. I don’t like everything Oxbow makes (make a better hamster food, already!) but their chinchilla food is top notch and the first one I would recommend when I worked at the pet store.

I have two chinchillas, and this is by far their favourite pellets of the different types iâve tried feeding them. Buying a big bag like this makes feeding them less stressful, as you dont have to worry about buying new pellets for a long time. These pellets seem to work well for my chins bowel movements, other kinds have gotten their poop to have a really bad odour or have made it liquidy. Overall the best of every kind iâve tried, i definitely reccomend.
