My new rescue cat is on the thin side and doesnât like the feel of wire brushes. She loves a soft brush but it doesnât do a great job. Iâve seen products with rubber nibs (nubs?) that are used for picking up pet hair, so it made sense that gloves with this feature should work directly on the animal. So I bought this inexpensive pair to try out both its effectiveness and my catâs acceptance. After a couple days of my cat giving the gloves the evil eye, I got a positive result in both cases. So, I gave this pair to my sister to try out on her two cats, and I upgraded to a better quality pair of gloves with more nibs (nubs). I found that I end up wearing only one glove so that I can pick the hair off it with my other hand as I brush. Then I give my cat a final clean up with a regular soft brush. Note: These types of gloves work best if you first give them a light spray of water.

Helpful for grooming
Bought this for use with my cat. Although sheâs a bit skittish and is afraid of the gloves, if I move slowly and gently, I can remove a good amount of fur. She likes the way the rubber teeth feel. I love that the gloves came as a pair.

Good in a pinch
I bought these when we got our puppy just so I had something to get his fur with. These are great to have on hand. However, in my case I have a slightly smaller hand and these gloves are big enough that they slide around on my hand as I’m trying to scrub or brush him. And they don’t do as good of a job as if my husband was using them.The mesh material makes it great to use for baths. And the fur pops off beautifully for easy clean up! They aren’t perfect bur for their price, the quick clean up, and the easy slip on and go they are worth to have on hand.

I like that they come in pairs so I can pet and groom my cat with both hands. He likes when I use the purple groomer with tiny retracting needles but seems to love being groomed with these grooming gloves as he PRESENTS himself for grooming, even his belly and he hates having his belly touched. Good design.
