Worked great for our dog
We have adopted a stray that came onto our property and is on his way to being a family farm dog. He is a Border Collie GSD mix, weighs about 60 lbs, and he has a fairly short flat coat for both breeds, but does have an undercoat. He came to us being afraid of a lot of things: brushes, baths, collars, etc. We have conquered some of these fears, but when I saw these I thought that he couldnât possibly be upset by us âpettingâ him with these gloves on. We tried them out and they worked to pull out some of that undercoat heâs got! I took photos of the mitt with the fur I got off with just a few minutes (less than five) of stroking him and how much fur that actually was. He thought it was just a fun game of petting and stroking and didnât realize I was actually âgroomingâ him. I wish I had these for my Husky as she got older and wouldnât let me brush her hair without an angry fight, she might have let me âpetâ her with these on.

Cheap Materials, Cheap Product, But Functional to Expectations
The materials used to make this feel VERY low quality. The hair-sticky part seems to be just barely affixed to the cheap plastic mesh that makes up the other part of the glove. The velcro isn’t quite in the right place for the size of the glove so you have to wrap it a little too tight to secure it shut.As for the functionality tho, it works fine. I have 3 cats and 1 loves this glove. I can pet him with ease and after just a few rubs the glove is covered in loose hair that would have otherwise been scattered all around my house. My second cat just tolerates it. I can tell he would prefer I take it off to pet him but he doesn’t mind it from time to time so I can clean him up that way.My last cat refuses to be touched by this. I don’t know what mechanism it is in cats that determines their preference for this sort of thing, but given the price I would say this is a fine product to take a gamble on. It’s a cheap experiment to learn about your animal’s tolerance – and it’ll work fine for (at the very least) a couple uses.If you already know your pet will tolerate this sort of treatment, I would recommend a higher quality, more expensive glove.

Affordable grooming gloves – works best for larger dogs
This review is for: YEPETS Pet Grooming Gloves (Blue) – Perfect Design for Grooming, Deshedding, Bathing & Massaging Your Dogs & Cats with Long/Short/Curly Fur â 1 Pair (Right & Left)For $5, these pet grooming gloves are quite useful I must admit. You get a Glove for each hand and on the palms side you have these rubber spikes that are kind of massaging for my dogâs back and he loves it!!!It does a nice trick on the back getting off some of the hairs that are loose.Iâd recommend these for large or medium size dogs rather than small ones because the rubber spikes are more far apart. Maybe a smaller pair is available for tiny dogs.

Decent for the price
All 3 of my dogs enjoy the body massages that they get when I pet them with these gloves on. And they are especially helpful to use on my Lab who has a silly fear of the brush. I just wish my cat enjoyed human attention, because they work great for removing the loose hair from his coat. There are probably more effective ways to remove the undercoat. But for the price, these gloves are decent and they serve multiple purposes.

Odd fit but grabs hair well
This fit very strangely on my hands and on my husband’s hands. The proportions of them are just weird. That said, they do work well enough on both of our hands which are very different sizes. These gloves do a great job of picking up fur on both of our dogs – a pitbull and a rottweiler. The nubs on them are not overly deep so may not work as well on longer haired dogs and can fill up quickly, but they clean easily too.My husband and I have come up with a great tag-team system. He “pets” the dogs with these to distract them while I trim their nails. They love the attention and we get two dog grooming chores done at once.

Pups are so annoying now
I ordered these gloves to help with bath time but upon receiving I put the gloves on and began to pet my pups to see how they would tolerate the little nubs. They love it to the point they have been begging to be groomed every hour. The gloves fit well and really gather a good bit of hair. Once full of hair I simply stand over the garbage, clap and rub my hands together to remove the hair. Pretty easy for dry grooming, not sure how well it will go with wet hair.

My kitty loves it but I didn’t, what a pain to clean, ended washing them under running water. I also dropped a star I had to finish stiching an inch of the seam that runs along the thumb on both gloves

These worked great for bathing my puppy. Helped get the shampoo through her coat. We also use for a light brushing. She seems to enjoy it! We through in the washer and hung dry. Came out perfect!
