What is the right feeding schedule?
Under normal circumstances your gecko will only need 3 to 5 feedings per week.
How much should I offer my gecko per feeding?
It depends on the age of your gecko. Most Juveniles should receive about 1/16th of an ounce or a dime size portion. Subadults should receive 1/8th of an ounce or a nickel sized portion. An adult should receive a quarter to about a half ounce portion.
Why shouldn’t I freeze the diet to help it last longer?
The ice crystals that form during the freezing process can potentially damage the cell walls of the plant ingredient contents and reduce the overall nutritional value of the diet.

A Favorite of My Gecko’s!
My crested gecko, Wonky, goes absolutely ape for this flavor of Pangea. I’ve given this exact formula to her since 2015, and in the 9 years I’ve been giving it to her, Pangea has delivered on quality and value for the money. You only need a little bit of powder to feed your gecko for the day, and it has all the vitamins and nutrients to keep them happy and healthy! I mix it with bee pollen or calcium and vit. D powder as a treat. Wonky also loves their other flavors; fig with insects and the breeder mix!

Just as a heads up, for four years I’ve always ordered this brand and my geckos love it. I trade between this and the apricot/banana. Occasionally along the way they won’t eat from a new package of powder. When that happens i try the fresh water powder mix myself and find the taste to be spoiled. Normally it tastes like sweet baby food (pretty darn good). No packaging is always perfect and the distributors are more than happy to replace it if the powder is no good. Just order the other flavor if your worried about the batch and not the packaging.. I will definitely use their food as long as I have crested geckos.On a side note, the four year old male and female I bought and caged together eat at their own pace, the male is average size, and the female is large and always looks pregnant. During egg season she gave me 14 eggs, 8 of which hatched and i had her on a diet of this powder along with crickets once or twice a month. I changed the powder out every other day, as i found if i have enough water in the mix whatever they don’t eat one day they dive into the next. Three days is too long or you risk getting fruit flies or other interested bugs laying eggs in there. If you do get flies/bugs put the food out right before bed or when they start getting active and remove first thing in the morning. I’ve never seen them touch it during the day as long as ive had them. Only crickets they tend to eat daytime.pps (if you are gone for 3-4 days you could leave them food making sure it’s a bit more watery, and they’ll be good, but any longer and i dump a bunch of crickets in there, if they can hunt well they wont starve by any means. Its a large exo terra)
