I got this toy because it looked amazing for my umbrella cockatoo. What a mistake!! It was covered in mold and dirt. The sewer-like stench that permeated my home was unbelievable. Do yourself and your bird a favor, stay far away from this toy. It’s dangerous!

Decent Size and Quality
For starters, this toy is NOT for large birds. A large cockatoo or a macaw could destroy this is under 10 minutes because it isn’t that large and the wood is not super hard. However, it works great for small to medium birds such as my conures. The materials are decent quality. I don’t like the inclusion of cotton ropes, but they are small and mostly covered by wood. The carabiner clip it comes with for hanging is spring loaded and could get stuck on a beak. It is also not strong enough to withstand a macaw attack, so it could become a hazard for larger birds. It’s a good toy for the price, but it is far from the best option. My conure does love it though!

Do NOT buy this toy!! Save your health and money!!First off, aside from it being covered in mold, I want to say that this toy is also very, very small. A macaw would make short work of this within 10 minutes. Not meant for macaws at all.And secondly, but most importantly, this is now the second (and last time!) that I have tried ordering this toy and received it covered with mold all over. Do not buy this toy!!!
