Cute and cozy!
I bought it for a stray cat that comes and goes in our backyard. Durability so far is good. The size is perfect for a cat. The cat loves to lounge in it so I will say it gives great comfort. I recommend this for a pet. Super easy to build â took me less than 5 minutes.

Difficult to assemble, but cat enjoys it
As expected the product comes entirely disassembled. Putting it together is not rocket science, but the pieces just Barely fit. We had to use two people, a good deal of strength, and a bit of guile to get the last post in, and the fabric was so tight that it pulled the corners out of alignment. We put a weight in the center to encourage it to align properly, and I figured it would pop apart again within moments, but was pleasantly surprised when it stayed. The hammock is certainly very taut and gives the cat a platform he seems to like.We placed it over a heating vent where it helps deflect the air away from a window.I may eventually make a new hammock from heavy fabric, and I’ll use Velcro to attach it, because I don’t want to go through the assembly again!

My arthritic cat LOVES this hammock.
Not only is the cat print super cute, my two cats love it so much that I had to get a second bed. I live in Arizona, and the cotton hammock makes it a great summertime bed. In the winter, I put a warming pad on it. I also like that it’s just wood and cotton fabric– no plastic.

Not Durable
To start, this was returned and I did not choose to replace it based on what I saw with the first one.I was so excited about this bed for my new puppy to have a “desk” at work like my older dog.My older dog is bigger so I did not buy the same brand bed (her’s is awesome and I wish they had it available in a size like this one).This one arrived broken. It appears to have been one that someone else got first and attempted to assemble and the wood chipped. With that said, I’m not at all surprised that the wood chipped. It’s not treated or stained or coated – nothing to protect it and very easy to cause damage to it.As I was assembling it, I started to realize how difficult it was going to be to ever take the cover off for washing. If I did take off the cover for washing, especially multiple times, I would definitely risk this breaking beyond repair.Due to the bare wood, I also think that this would get very dirty very quickly and be difficult to clean.For the price or not, I do not recommend this bed. There are many others that are made with much better quality/thoughtfulness and will last a LOT longer.

Pieces donât properly fit together
Some of the wooden dowels were either too big or the holes were too small and the wooden dowels would split trying to get them in. I ordered two of these same problem with both. This lead them to not being the sturdiest but itâs held up for a few days so far so wonât be going through the hassle of returning

My cat loves it.
Iâve bought so many cat beds for him. One day he was laying on my ironing board and couldnât figure out why. So I decided to buy this. As soon as I put it on the ground, he laid in it and will not get off of it. Itâs made out of strong material, very light, has some give away and not super taught, and it was easy to assemble. Itâs slightly rough with the canvas, but the color is vibrate and well made. Not too large for any room or corner.

Bought this in July and only in Late September did my cat start to use it and sleep in it. Our male cat got in it on day 1 and rolled in it once I put catnip in there, but he left after a couple of minutes and never returned to it. Our shy female cat would only put one or two paws on it to grab whatever food I was using to lure her onto it. Finally now she lounges in it. I like to use it outside when itâs wet because she canât bask on the wet deck so this is a nice dry surface for her. I just cover the feet so they donât get wet because it is wood so it would totally get mouldy and dirty without some protection.The fabric is pretty but it attracts their fur like thereâs no tomorrow, I need to use a lint brush to clean it up which is fine !
