Great replacement light for my 5 gallon tank
I have a 5 gallon kit with 3 small LED lights built into the cover. One light stopped working and the tank looked dim. I installed this 8 inch light using the included velcro and was able to center it inside the cover but not on top of the filter which is on the side but takes up a good amount of space in such a small tank. The lights are bright and the colors work well. I have only used it on the 24/7 setting so the light automatically changes which is perfect. My fish and plants seem happy so I’m happy. The written instructions that came with it were good and I’m happy I didn’t have to look online to figure out how to use the controller.

Works great so far. I like how it allows you to put in the actual time of day. I have it set for sunrise/sunset mode. Now I can see the beautiful colors of my fish. I have it suctioned to the top of the lid, replacing the original light that burned out.

Got it to help my goldfish get its color back. I love all the settings that it has. The suction cups don’t stay on very well though.

It already comes with a timer, which is nice as I donât need to dedicate any off timer to it. I also like that you can set it so it has sunrise and sunset which is a great effect. Functions very well and great color option. In my case, installation took a little bit because to fit it, I needed to modify the hood, but itâs definitely secure. Please note, I use as a secondary light.

Set it and forget it! But maybe start with super glue
Using the suction cups to secure it to the bottom of the lid did not consistently work. Every few hours to days, one side would have dropped into the tank. I super glued the suction cups onto the lid and it’s been great since. The 24 hour timer is perfect and I love the natural brightness setting mimicking a summer day (6-10 has some amount of light). My plants are thriving and fish look great!

Suction cups on it suck, but everything else is great! I love the sunrise/sunset feature and the different colors you can have. I havnt seen any random flickering. So i believe this is great quality

I haven’t had this for long but it seems great and I really like all the different colors! They are bright and vibrant! It works really goof and suctions well! It is easy to use and is a good value for the money! The timer also seems to work good!

The white LED light attached under the cover of my 20-gallon Top Fin LED Bubble Wall Aquarium Kit is too bright. Whenever I turn it on the fish scramble for somewhere to hide and donât come out until I turn it off. Because of this, I rarely turn it on and if I do itâs just for a short time. I noticed that because of this the plants are not growing as they should and my fish are always in the dark.I replaced the light with the Pawfly 20-inch 24/7 full spectrum LED light and I am very glad I did. I removed the old light under the cover attached the new one using the suction cups provided. I just love the 24/7 mode feature which is very easy to use. Just set the time and push the 24/7 mode button, and youâre all set. It automatically turns on at 6 am, does its color changing cycle and light adjustments to replicate actual daytime and nighttime lights, then turns off at 10 pm. I didnât even bother to fiddle with the other settings. It has only been 2 days since Iâve used it, and I really hope this product lasts a long time.Now my glass catfish, neon tetras and cherry shrimps are happy I can actually see them smiling.
