It’s okay
It does work somewhat. Magnet it a little weak. My biggest complaint is it doesn’t float when separated. I’m using it to clean the front glass on the refugium section of my sump and sticking my arm all the way in to retrieve the magnetic cleaner isn’t ideal. I would say it’s perfect for a little goldfish bowl or a beta tank just not 100% for my particular situation.

Powerful magnet and aggressive brush cleans well.
The magnet on this is not overly powerful, but it really holds the scrubber onto the glass well. The scrubber is more aggressive than others I have had and it works much better without scratching the glass. I bought the Mini size which is very small, perfect for a 3-5 gallon aquarium, it would be a little small for a 10 gallon but could work. I like this one a lot and will most likely buy a larger one for my other aquarium.

Outstanding product exceeded all expectations.
To start with, Iâm sorry I didnât video this product in action. I ordered the large size, since its narrative stated, Up to 30 gallon aquariums. It was very inexpensive, and only a dollar more than the smaller size. It arrived the next day, and I removed it from its box, thinking maybe it will be too small for my 55 gallon aquarium. After using, I can only think the, Up to 30 gallons was a misprint, because it only took me minutes to clean what was now thick algae no longer green but brown. Years and years ago, I bought a similar type magnetic product, but with a blade scrapper for a smaller aquarium. That only worked barely satisfactorily. In contrast, this new product not only did a fantastic job, it also was more convenient to use, rinsed off easily, and the best thing I loved was the half that cleans the algae floats if it accidentally detaches from the half youâre holding while cleaning. Laughable that competing more expensive products list as a selling point, that their product has a hole drilled on one end of the cleaning half, so the user can tie a string to it, assisting in convenient recovery if it accidentally detaches and sinksð BTW. Before using, windex your aquarium so that the polishing felt on the outside half of your new magnetic aquarium cleaner stays nice and clean.

Works ok but not as described
I ordered this after specifically selecting the ACRYLIC TANK option.I received an item that specifically states GLASS FISH TANK ONLY.I initiated an exchange, believing I had simply been sent the wrong one, but my replacement was identical.Note to seller: do not offer options of acrylic vs glass if you do not truly offer those options.I decided to give this a try, as my tank desperately needed a clean, and I wouldn’t be upset if it got scratched as I’m planning a tank upgrade next month as it is.It works OK. Not great, but not bad. You just have to go slowly and over the same spots several times, but it will clean most of the algae.If you don’t want to risk trying this on your acrylic tank, I would opt for a different brand. Mine was fine, but, as I said, I wouldn’t have been upset with scratches since I’m planning an upgrade soon anyway.

So tiny but actually works
I thought for the price and size that the magnet might not be strong enough to make the product work while being “safe” for the glass. It’s tiny, but it works great! It’s not going to get off green spot algae, but few of these magnet cleaners will without a razor. I used it on diatomaceous algae while my 5 gallon tank cycled.

Not floating is an issue with substrate
For what it is it works, at least for a little bit. Because sit didnât float it would fall into my rocks and I would have to clean it and the Velcro scrubbing portion has just come off. Iâve only used it a handful of times.

Scrubs algae very effectively. I am able to turn corners without dropping.Those who complain that the felt rips off probably are not careful when separating the magnets. (Pull straight apart, do NOT slide because the velcro will pull hard on the felt!)After use, I rinse the “wet” side and store both halves separated to let the wet side air dry.Perfect size for my 5 gallon tank.

First off the magnet is super strong. Don’t let your kid play with it, i squeezed a bit of skin between the 2 parts. It hurts. That also means it work well when scraping. Speaking of which, what you actually clean with is the rugged side of a velcro fabric. I understand is does scrape, but since its badically tiny hooks, you’ll have to go back and forth so you dont leave lines of dirt.Side note: they warn this is NOT for plexiglass. I can see why. Make sure you have a glass fish tank or you’ll ruin it.

The product is smart, good, easy to use and effective but the only problem I faced was the outer part of the piece. That soft pad that glides across the tank sort of peeled off and sticky glue substance started getting stuck around the glass of my aquarium. It was sort of a pain to get off. But pretty much the product is decent.
