Efficient Triple Pack of Aquarium Sponge Filters
I recently purchased a three-pack of aquarium sponge filters, and I’m impressed with their performance. These filters do exactly what you’d expect from an average sponge filter, and they do it well. The sponge filters efficiently oxygenates the water as well as remove small debris and particles from the aquarium water, contributing to a cleaner and healthier environment for aquatic life. This product comes in a convenient three-pack, providing excellent value for the price. It’s perfect for those with multiple aquariums or for spares when needed. Setting up these sponge filters is a breeze. They are userfriendly and don’t require any complex assembly, making them suitable for both beginners and experienced aquarium enthusiasts. The sponge filters are well-made and durable. The quality materials used ensure a long lifespan, making them a reliable choice for continuous use. While these sponge filters do their job effectively, they have a simple and standard design. If you’re looking for a more aesthetically pleasing option, you might need to explore other decorative filter choices. In summary, if you’re in need of reliable, no-frills sponge filters for your aquarium, this three-pack is an excellent choice. It delivers on its promise of efficient filtration, durability, and affordability â everything you’d expect from a solid sponge filter option.

These are great sponge filters
They are “Fine” mesh filters so they trap a lot of small stuff. They are not loud. I have mine connected to a gang valve so I can control the amount of air flowing into it. Easy to assemble, easy to use, easy to clean & they last months & months. My only irritation is that you cannot just put it in a bucket of tank water & squeeze it clean you REALLY have to squeeze it out repeatedly. So I use a small cup instead of a large pail. They really collect a lot of tiny particles so it can be a little difficult to remove it all. But great performance & value.

Work Great!
I bought these for my fry tanks and they work perfect. I have 1 in each 5.5 gallon tank. They provide good oxygen and water movement. I clean them once a month and the water has stayed perfectly clear.

solid for price
was very simple to set up. solid quality/durability for the price. is also very quiet and has been filtering well thus far. my beta seems alot happier! fair warning, does not come with air machine, is just the filter itself.will update in a few months!

Aquarium Filters
Not much to say here. These are great. Just make sure you get the proper size. Honest opinion they can do away with the smaller than 10 and up. Lower than 10 seems a waste of materials, not that they dont work, they are just tiny.

Popular aquarium filter
So I decided to get back into aquatics, and set up small micro aquariums 2 gallons to 5 gallon tanks. And what I noticed over the years is that filtration has changed a lot. Everyone talks about sponge filters and how well they work, not only to clean out your tank of debris, but also to create bubbles for aeration and a place where good bacteria can hide that keep your water looking bright and clear. I’ve tried these you get three in a package, but I have to say that they are more geared toward a 5 gallon to 10 gallon aquarium. They’re not doing so good in the small aquariums because they’re a bit large. Also, the one con I can tell you about is that they want to float, even though there is a heavy weight at the bottom of the filter to keep it down, it rises up to the top, so I had to fix some clear tape to the hose leading out of the tank and that helped keep , the sponge filter in its corner. I think they need to make these much heavier, other than that I guess they work OK and do what they’re supposed to do, however, when the sponge gets dirty, I’m not quite sure how to replace it with clean sponges or do I need to purchase the whole unit again that is a mystery to me . Highly recommended for medium to large tanks.

Great sponge filters!
Iâve been using these in two of my tanks, a 10 gallon and a 20 gallon, for a few months now. They work great! Iâve had no issues with them at all. I use them in conjunction with hang on the back filters. I know itâs overkill, but I like a clean aquarium! Also, in my 10 gallon tank, my shrimp and Otto love to much on the outside of it! Highly recommend these inexpensive sponge filters!

Mediocre
Product works great for oxygenating the water however when I took my other filter out when I got this one the water does get cloudy even with 25% weekly water changes & monthly filter cleans. I would recommend running this with a regular carbon filter!

My Betta was being drawn into the filter and tearing its fins these ones seem more gentle

For those who want a fine-sponge sponge filter, this fits the bill.Built-in air channels pipe air to base then diffuses up from bottom.Thin width takes up less space in your tank.Easy to disassemble and clean (but make sure you understand what effect this has on your tank bacterial flora).Suction power depends on your air delivery.

The bubbles were really loud and annoying so did the airstone mod, works great now. They shouldn’t really put “Quiet” in the advertising title of these.
