Bold centerpiece
Beautiful tank..filter super easy to assemble did have a little issue clamping the light to the rim but overall really happy with the size..I originally wanted the biorb 28 gallon but it has been discontinued..and the aquashere 24 was the closest I could find. Impressed . I love the circle ring glow that reflects on my tile floor. Best purchase I have made tempted to purchase another one for dining room.

Great setup for goldfish
I love this aquarium, and so does my 6 mo old Shubunkin (“Buddy”). The fish can swim “laps” like they can in a goldfish bowl, only it’s much bigger. Easy to set up. Accommodates a wide variety of aquarium devices. The bowl does distort visually, which is the natural consequence of being bowl shaped. The bowl is cast in crystal clear polycarbonate. Distorted, but clearer than glass.I like it enough that I’m going to buy one in 10 gal to use as a betta sorority tank. Buddy will outgrow this tank in 4-5 yrs, so I hope that they are still producing the 24 gal version then.

Almost great…but nope
This tank has so much potential…shame pennplax went cheap on it.1. Filter motor is of poor quality…lasted 3 months..HEY PENNPLAX..I NEED A REPLACEMENT.2. Light/hood is of poor quality, difficult to fit on sphere and is not programable3. Filter is no adaptable to other Filter media and is to small for the tank4. Should have an incorporated heater that fits into the existing hoodLike I said, unfortunate…because it has potential. Maybe they need actual fish keepers on the design team?

A clear step by step video would be so helpful .
Love the tank ânowâ that it is put together. It was a little challenging. The directions are not clear and the lid was challenging attaching to the top of tank.

Beautiful!
This is the biggest “fish bowl” I could find and the overall appearance of it has surpassed my expectations. It is currently housing two baby fancy goldfish until they can go to my 300g pond in the spring. I did add a sponge sleeve to the filter intake to add more filtration and I will need to buy a large handle sponge to clean the sides of the tank. The directions for assembly of the filter were pretty much useless as the photos were too dark and the parts were slightly different than shown….penn-plax needs to do better with that. Overall, I am completely satisfied with the set up so far…I will update in a few months.

Esthetically beautiful
Great product. The pump and lights malfunctioned, but customer service took care of it in a timely fashion. Thank you Daina. No other issues. Looks great and running smoothly. Set it up with substrate. Plenty of plants. Healthy tank, healthy fish.

Beautiful bowl but the filter is useless
An amazing 24 gallon goldfish bowl! I love that a bowl can serve as a proper aquarium as the shape is so eccentric and old school. The light is great especially the dimming feature. I have to unplug it at night though as it would suddenly turn on because the motion sensor is so sensitive and responds to shadows. I did not like the built in filter. It is noisy and itâs filter capacity is negligible. It DOES NOT have the space for significant bio media. I added some small Eheim ceramic media balls and the filter started to overflow. So I removed the filter extension and now run air hoses through the hole in the lid and run a sponge and box filter with a proper amount of media. All that said it is still worth the money and is a beautiful addition to my fish room!
