Terramycin
Save yourself the vet bill and purchase this eye ointment instead! I have one cat that seems to get an eye infection once a year. He’d start off by squinting the eye followed by swelling. After putting this on his lower eyelid twice a day I noticed results within 2 days. The swelling was gone. After a week he was no longer squinting and back to his crazy self. I’ve also used this on a cat whose eyes drain and it completely nipped that in the butt! (Don’t put the tube directly to their eye!! Wash your hands or use gloves and apply it using your finger!!) I think it’s awesome that you can use this on many different species of animals. From farm animals to reptiles, they’ve got you covered. My only complaint is the tube. Putting the slightest amount of pressure on it causes it ooze out. Therefore, it becomes a mess. I’ve wasted a lot on accident. I wish they’d upgrade the tube to something more practical. It’s still a very effective product, it deserves more than 5 stars since it’s saved me so much in vet bills.

It Worked Well!
Worked well, within 3 days on my 21 year old Tuxedo cat.As to the other reviews that suggest it’s not sealed – this is a trial tube size – From having worked in and owned a medical clinicfor several years, – Most, if not all, trialsizes meds given to us by the pharmaceutical sales reps would give us “samples/trial size meds” to give to our patients, the trial sizeswere never sealed. Most still aren’t. Why – I don’t know but this tube IS safe. This does what is says, stick with it, don’t be afraid to use it – NOTE – on the first day, it will look worse, but that’s perfectly normal with any injury or infection.By the second day, I was already seeing great results and feeling relieved.Use this, 2 to 3 times a day/max and try to keep them from licking it off with their paws.It works and I’m happy to have gotten it in a day, unlike another brand that took nearly 2 weeks to receive, was 10 bucks more and was the exact same size. With infections like that, you don’t have time to wait 2 weeks, so I took the chance on this and very glad I did. When it arrived, the box was inside of a gold mylar – SEALED package,a white box inside, and ANOTHER box inside of that with the tube in it. This IS safe.I assure you.I felt the need to write the review basedon how well it worked and because I saw other reviews suggesting it was not sealed and possibly not sterile.Let me tell you this – if you want to saveyour pet’s eye within 2 to 4 days?THIS WILL WORK. I just purchased another tube for any future issues. One thing they were accurate on, in other reviews, however, was the pressureof the tube – the moment you open it, a lot continues to come out every timeyou need to use it – so use sterile gloves, a 2×2 sterile gauze pad to gently wipe eyedry, THEN grab a dab of this and cap it off immediately so you don’t waste the med.For the price? Please, a definite bargain and I am so happy my cat’s eye is great after just a few days.Did my cat like it? Hell No, but this small, 15 dollar tube saved me hundreds. A little bit went a long way.I should have taken pix for proof.Amazing seller, amazing med – thank you to seller. You saved my cat’s eye! She’s all I have and I truly appreciate the affordable price and quick ship time. God bless.

Good product, Pfizer-branded
I was a little skeptical, based on the generic packaging in the picture. It arrived as shown, but the actual tube was Pfizer-branded Terramycin. Good product, affordable. Does not require a silly and expensive farm call to get a prescription.

This is gold in a tube!
My cat had a cold and his eyes were constantly watery and filled with green boogies. Poor thing could barely open his eyes in the mornings.. I tried all sorts of natural remedies and nothing worked well enough to heal him. After reading some reviews on here, I decided to make the purchase and let me tell you, if youâre considering this pomade, please do yourself and your pet a favor and purchase it!! It is gold in a tube! After rubbing it on the outside areas of both his eyes gently for 2 days, his eyes completely cleared up and heâs good as new! I am so glad I purchased it, and Iâm planning on buying more to have stored (I have 7 cats). Hope this helps!!

Decent Ointment for Pet Eyes
Tried this product now to see if I could get the same results as I did from a product called terramincyn for eyes did not product took longer for the healing process. Just the value is there with the strength isnât to cure those eye infections or cuts or poke or whatever you might wanna say with the terramycin and Iâve seen eyes that were poked shield up within 10 days. This one took just a little bit longer.

Buy it, itâs effective and affordable.
There was a learning curve for me on how to apply it to my dogs eye but I used a flat cotton round with a thick line of gel and placed the gel on the eye avoiding touching his eye with the cotton round. My dog preferred this method so do whatâs best for your pup.I applied the ointment once a day at first and then ramped up to twice a day. I saw a difference in his eye in four to five days.Be sure to wear gloves. I cleaned my dogs eye with saline each time prior to putting the gel in.Donât know what he had but it worked. We think it was something from him playing in the yard.

Works great for nest box eye in bunnies
I use this for my rabbits when they get nest box eye. It works quickly, after just a couple of treatments. It is easy to use and just as effective as the name brand.
