great for elderly pets
our older cat is starting to get stiff in the joints, he has recently started to lay down on the heater registers during the day which cannot be too comfortable. this mat has been a great addition to his care and has become his new spot in the house. The control panel is very self explanatory in heat settings and timer functions. we turn it on twice daily for 12 hr run times and have not had any issues. the heat levels are very strong and we have not gone above level 2 outside of testing. I do wish it was a bit bigger as one of the dogs is now sharing the mat.

Perhaps an unorthodox usage methodâ- I use this pad atop the mesh cover of my Leopard Geckoâs vivarium on cold, Rocky Mountain Winter nights for safe, constant, gentle additional warmth.Despite under tank heat pads & a heat lamp, my elderly Leo seemed cold. Not only is this big enough for 2 cats to sprawl on it but the heating lasts a full 24 hours! I always feel guilty when I forgot to reset the one I was using before because it only lasted 12 hours. Now my 2 cats will be happy all day!

Perfect for small to medium animals
Perfect size to help keep animals warm. Especially working with rehabs and wildlife, this is great to place underneath a container to help. Keep them warm.. The blue sleeve is super soft and unzipped easily so that you can wash it if you need to and the control is very easy to use and you have six levels of heat and it doesnât automatically shut off which is wonderful.
